I went tanning to this location a few times because they are close to my work. I usually tan at Suntan Shop, now Solar Planet (Leesburg). This place didn't seem to bad, it was odd to me that the types of bulbs they use (160) watt is more than the 160/120 combo Solar Planet used in their Diamond bed. I had been going for once a week at 7 minutes at the SP and when I tried this place at 7 minutes I felt nothing. The next week I went for 9 minutes, and still felt nothing, a few days later I went for 10 minutes and got burned, it was pretty bad. I don't usually burn in the sun. I never had been burnt so bad by a tanning bed in my life! My conclusion is that they don't change their bulbs often at all, and they don't tell you when they've changed bulbs. Horrible experience. At SP they always tell you when they've changed bulbs, and they even try to give you the same bed whenever possible. I think this is a great way to regulate customers from burning. I've never felt like the beds weren't tanning me. Customer service is nothing, Smiling and having a clean location isn't too important, I would rather dirty floors and be greeted by a rude person than burn or waist my money on a bed that wont tan.... Especially not burn, I tan so I won't burn in the sun!!! more

Tandulgence is by far the best tanning salon in the Northern Virginia area. The staff, along with the owner are terrific people. I never had any problems with Tandulgence or the employees in the past two years I have been tanning there. I have always gotten terrific color from there beds and noticed that they always change the lamps way before they are due to be changed. So if it is great tan you are looking for, hands down Tandulgence will get it for you! The staff knows what they are talking about and they care about you as a person, not just a number. They want you to be happy with your experience at Tandulgence, and if for some unknown reason that you are not they will do everything possible to make you happy. Both salons are extremely clean, you can tell they take pride in what they do. As for the comment by Betty T., it just seems to me that you are an angry, depressed person that has nothing better to do then slam a business for the hard work they have done. I don't even think you have steped foot into the salon, since eveything you have stated is a lie. Get a life, you are just a rude person and probably a jealous one too. For everyone else out there don't take her word, just go in and try it, you will see what I am talking about. Tandulgence is a great place to tan and they make you feel welcome. They have me as a life long client, I would'nt dare go anywhere else. more

The owner is rude the staff takes from the owner (impolite). I bought 15 session (pricing is high) and thought I would get a tan. I used 11 sessions and did not get much color as other places in the area. With the poor quality tan and the owner’s nasty attitude, I will never return. I did try their sunless tanning system which streaked me and turned me orange...NO MORE!!! more

I've been to Tandulgence quite a few times for the Magic Tan spray-on tan. I always end up buying one of their packages (10 spray tans for $50, for example), although I never end up using all of them. The staff is so-so friendly (mostly high-schoolers), but I'm usually in and out of there within 15 minutes. I haven't used the tanning beds, so I can't rate those, but the rooms all look clean. more
