You cannot go worng attending a Staten Island Yankees game in St. George. The park is just well done and has an excellent view of Manhattan that just adds to the enjoyment of the game. Overall, just a nice way to enjoy baseball without having to worry about emptying your wallet to make your family happy. Have fun at the ballpark.

the Staten Island Yankees are a lot of fun to watch. it is nice to have a minor league team on Staten Island. the ballpark in St. George has great views of the city and is a really nice stadium. the ticket prices and concession stand prices are much better than the prices at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx. I highly recommend watching a game here and taking the kids!

I love going to S.I. Yankees games. Just a short ferry ride from downtown Manhattan (not to mention that the ferry is completely free), the field is steps from the terminal on the Staten Island side. Good baseball, with reasonable food prices and cheap beers, is a combination that makes it fun for the whole family.

Going to a baseball game is fun. The bright lights, the crowds, the suspense, the hot dogs, the hits.....but getting all the way to the Bronx or Queens is a pain. Why not just go to a SI Yanks game right on Staten Island. The tickets are cheap ($7), it's easy to get to by SI train, or by ferry if youre not from SI, and the stands look out over NY harbor to a full view of downtown Manhattan across the water. And for someone who isn't obsessed with the names and stats of major league baseball, I find it more fun to watch the guys play who are still playing their hearts out trying to "make it"
