My uncle owns the Eggers store and it is the best ice cream that I have tasted. I am a picky person and I know good food when I taste it. Eggers ice cream beats the rest and I have not eaten any ones ice cream since.

Staten Island may actually have some of the best ice cream places in the New York. First there's Ralph's. Now Eggers. On a recent trip with my family to S.I. I stopped by Eggers and was floored by the old fashioned ice cream parlor style in which the restaurant was modeled. My kids especially loved the candy jars near the entrance. The ice cream was very good. They offered a wide selection of ice creams and root beers.

I never ate inside there though, because it tends to be very isolate. They also close very early, I think they're family owned

Ive been coming to Eggers for celebrations and comfort for all the years i've been living on Staten Island. For birthdays, for just-need-ice-cream days to hot summer days, and yes, even some frigid winter days. The night of the 2004 presidential election, when it was obvious Bush won, disappointingly, again, where did I go for comfort food? Eggers! In fact, I don't really need any excuse to go to Eggers, just a craving for chocolate-chocolate chip ice cream.
and what the heck do they put in their whipped cream? it's the best whipped cream I have ever tasted!

Eggers Ice Cream Parlor is simply the best. Its kind of like an old fashioned ice cream parlor, but with more flavors of ice cream and frozen yogurt than you can think of. They make the best banana splits, sundaes and shakes that you've ever tasted. Eggers can be a bit pricey, but their generous sizes make up for this. There's even ice cream by the quart and half gallon to take home, and a cute little candy counter as well.

Picture an old-fashioned ice cream parlor from the 1950’s and you’ll have a mental picture of what Egger’s is like. They serve the second best ice cream on the island and the prices aren’t half bad. They also have yummy candy lining the walls in clear jars that cost literally nickels and dimes. Personally my favorite is the Rocky Road ice cream
