This restaurant has excellent Italian food although it is a bit pricey. You still get your money's worth, though. I went there on Valentine's day and the restaurant was nicely decorating, setting a good ambiance. It's always busy, so it gets a bit noisy.

Being from Manhattan, it's perhaps unexpected that I'd think a Staten Island restaurant the BEST in NYC, but, after just one meal (4 years ago) I was convinced - and, many vists later, I still am. The food is matched by the fine & ever friendly service. The setting, Richmondtown Restoration couldn't be nicer (it's like a "rural excape" from The City).Even the tiny, "cozy", bar is a place I think of fondly. My only suggestion for improvement is that The Parsonage should add NEW YORK wines (Long Island/The Finger Lakes/The Hudon Valley...) to its wine-list -that would make the place near perfect!

I went to Marina Cafe few times and the food was very delicious. The view of the Marina is great. If possible, ask for a windown table. The interior is nice, the waitstaff is very friendly and helpful. The previous revews are right regarding the dockside. They do have different menu for the outdoor cafe.

The first time I walked in this store I didn't know where to turn first. There was so much to learn and to look at, I was lost. Their staff was very helpful. They asked me questions and directed me to certain items that they thought I would like and be helpful. After years of learning and trying new things, they are still my favorite. They always offer a sample at the take away counter. They make and order some delicious foods that make my mouth water. I just wish they weren't so expensive. But I guess that's the downside of eating healthy.

We work full time and when we get home most of the time, we don't want to cook, I discovered Cangiano's Pork Store, they have fresh meats, cold cuts, fresh salads, cheeses, seafood, homemade sauces and breads. I could eat everything in that store, they now even carry vegetables, frozen raviolis, cavattelli, although is in the expensive side, you can't beat the freshness of the food.
