I lived in Hickox Apartments on and off for three years. I lived in two of their studios at 631 S 4th St. and one of their newly renovated 1 bedrooms at 606 S 4th St. The studios are perfect for short term living. I lived in them when I was doing summer internships. The one-bedroom was beautiful (Victorian-style with hardwood floors) and that where I moved when I came to town for a permanent job. The apartments are within walking distance of the Capitol Complex and the downtown bars. The rent is cheap and the landlords are nice.
