This place just opened about 2 months ago. It is the BEST and biggest Chinese Buffet in Springfield. It is a little pricey at between $8.99 to $9.99 (Drink not included) per person. It depends on what time of day you go, which price you pay.
My number one favorite there has to be the peanut chicken. I can eat a ton of this stuff. The staff is super friendly. When your drink needs refilled, they are right there.
I would recommend International Buffet to anyone. It is the greatest. Its basically the only place I go out to eat anymore.

This local pizzeria has great pizza! The restaurant itself is really neat due to the decor. It really is a family restaurant. My kids were enchanted by all the toys and pictures lining the walls. I found the prices to be more than you would pay for chain type pizza places, but worth it for a treat.

This restaurant also has take-out service, which is the service we used. Our order was correct and the food was very good. Their prices are rather high, so this is not the place to go if you are on a budget. More of an adult place rather than family-friendly. This is not the place I would take my young kids to.

Godfathers pizza is an excellent eatery in Springfield. The employees are friendly, and the store is clean. I think they have the best pizza in town. They have a great balance of ingredients... you know, not too much sauce, not too much cheese... that kind of thing! The pizza is priced resonably and they do offer coupons, and the wonderful thing with the coupons is that they accept all competitiors coupons, so if they don't have a deal you are satisfied with, you can use one from another pizza place! Godfathers pizza IS wonderful!

Godfather's on Dirksen has great food, just like the Godfather's on Lawrence, but the difference is the friendliness of the employees. At the Dirksen location, the employees always seem busy and often don't speak when I go in, and take forever to get to you when picking up an order. So if you want good food, but are willing to deal with employees that may be rude, then the Dirksen location is right for you.

Although I don't go to Shakey's often, when I do go I always know I can count on good service. They have excellent pizza, and the food is good all together. The buffet features food like fish and mashed potatoes, and much more. The buffet costs I believe 7.50, but it is worth it. For kids under 12, I believe their age is multiplied by .25 and thats how much their buffet is! Shakey's is terrific!

Grab-a-Java is a wonderful place to stop in at on your way to work. It is a quick drive-thru coffee service! The coffee is wonderful and the employees are nice! You don't have to wait a long time for your drink either. They are very quick, efficient, and delicious. So if you ever need your coffee fix, but don't want to run into the store or gas station, stop by Grab-a-Java!

The employees are friendly, and speak every time you go into the restaurant. Although Bernie and Betty's is known for their great pizza, they have much more than that! If you want to eat in, you will be welcomed to a friendly environment, where you will often see familiar places. You can also call ahead of time, order your food, and pick it up at a side window. Although the pizza is good, my favorite tends to be the gyro! So give it a try for yourself, and see what you like best!
