By my own admission, I am very touchy about my hair - not any hair place will do. It took me 3 years to find the one that I now go to regularly. As far as I know, I am the only guy I know who goes here - and for good reason. I mean, what self respecting man would go to a salon of "hair design?" Ill tell you, it's a a guy who enjoys not coming out of the barber shop looking like he got in a fight with a lawnmower, a guy who likes floors not covered in previous clientel's hair, and a guy who wants quality products used on him, for a good price. This place is the real deal. Ask for Stacy.

I am not a member of this club, but I have been there as a guest - and I have never been to a cooler place. Not only is there a great outdoor pool and nice tennis courts, but there is a volleyball net and small soccer field. The sense of community at this place is great - everyone seems to know eachother and everyone is fairly friendly - there is also a swim team there. As a bonus - it had the best pick up volleyball that i have ever played outside of a club. Awesome Place!

I can make a whole dinner just with the appetizers. Egg rolls, spring rolls, my favorite, crab rangoon, sweet & sour shrimp and my husband's favorite, beef teriyaki on a stick. If you like chicken, pork, beef and shrimp with your fried rice, try the house specialty fried rice. reasonable pricing.

Battiston's in South Windsor is located on Sullivan Avenue. The laundromat is not very clean. The service is average for a drycleaner. The best thing in this location is the tailor who is not affiliated with Battiston's.

I purchased a belt from these folks, they also had a lot of very unique handbags that were all reasonably priced. They were for sale in someones home so I didn't go into the store I do plan on doing that I am sure they have a lot to offer

I personally love the Little League program run here by the parks and rec. servce in South Windsor. The league is extreamly organized with nice uniforms, experienced coaches, and excellent facilities all accompanied by a definite structure to the scheadule of games, practices and playoffs. There is a real sense of community within the baseball league and it is a great chance for kids of any age or skill level to simply get out there and play.

This place probably has the best pizza in all of South Windsor - it also has very friendly owners who know my family by name - and are very personal with the surrounding community. Even the pizza men are friendly and will even come into your house to put the pizzas on the counter. They both deliver, pickup and have a dining area - although it leaves a lot to be desired. However, the food is well worth it.
