Will go there for their Sheekh Kababs.Best in town.
But must warn : - Service is class A lousy.
Would call , place order atleast an HOUR ahead of time and plan for pick up (as the food is good) rather than dine in.Seriously understaffed joint.
Pros: Good Pakistani Cuisine
Cons: Very poor service. Dont go expecting anything but a hey, what is ur order...after long wait time.

Probably the best Pakistani food in the northeast and that includes New York. Service is very basic and people in the know get stuff from the counter themselves. The samosas to start off with are nice whether veg or meat. Most meat dishes especially the barbecue fare are excellent. The kebabs remind one of any nice joint like Clifton, Zakir or Punjab tikka in Lahore. For chicken tikka they seem to have taken some influence from Indian restaurants in using that red dye which I don't care for but the taste is authentic nonetheless.
The Nihari is a little thin but well cooked and goes nicely with their hot naan. In addition they have Dahi bhaley, gulab jaman and kheer which really complete the Pakistani dining experience.
The vegetarian stuff is not that great but for that one should really go to an Indian restaurant. Overall the food is excellent, the place is clean and family freindly but the service is pretty basic.
Pros: Great food, authentic taste
Cons: Lack of cohesive service

I have dined at the Rasham restaurant with my family quite frequently over the past year or so and am very pleased with the great food and the friendly service. Their "naan", "boneless chicken tikka" and "kababs" are the best. Their "chicken jalfarezi" is also excellent. The restaurant tries to create a home-like environment and the prices are very very reasonable.
I highly recommend this restaurnat to anyone interested in delicious foreign cuisine.
Pros: Great tasting food and consistent quality.

I've been to Rasham 5 times before tonight. It has always been slow in serving and general service. But tonight they broke my patience and it prompted me to write this review.
Tonight ordering was a breeze and I got my food. But they forgot to provide any silverware. So me and my friend waited for about 6-7 minutes for it while our food was getting cooler. Water was served only once during the entire meal, and they forgot to ask me if i wanted anything else to drink.
After the dinner, we waited for 4-5 minutes for the check, but when no-one showed up we simply decided to go to the counter to pay for the meal. And there it happened. I waited for about 15 minutes to pay for my meal!! every once in a while someone showed up asking if i needed anything - all i needed was my freaking bill.
It's very basic, but you do notice such things about service - no one apologized after i paid my bill. Not even a thank you or good night. I just paid my bill and left.
p.s. There was a 10-11 year old kid taking orders and billing at Rasham!!! is it even legal??? I don't know.
Pros: taste of food
Cons: service on all respects
