Senor Panchos is the only authentic Mexican Restaurant in the small town that is Southbury. It is located out of the way- in a small strip mall in the back of the center of town, but it is quite popular. Here they serve excellent food like fajitas, burritos and Fabulous Margaritas. They have a small bar that is popular with area locals as well- there aren't many watering holes in this town and this one fills the margarita void.

There are many restaurants out there who try to be as good as Maggie McFlys, but they don't even come close.
We've always gone to Maggies with a few people, & it's always a blast. Never have any trouble with the service, they try to be quite friendly. Good Value for the money, & the non-alcoholic drinks are the bomb. The Southbury one is quite good. When we go out, we go to this one the most. All of the food is FANTASTIC, the appetizers are best to share with loads of people, so I get to sample it all. Get the Lobster Bisque Soup when it is IN SEASON (that is the only time they have it), you will agree that this soup is BETTER than ANY 5 star restaurant bar none. I also love the fried chicken salad for an entree, it is made VERY WELL.

The Food here is wonderful. It has the authentic taste that you will never forget. It is a great place to bring the family. Kids get coloring books that include fun puzzles. It's especially fun to go here on your birthday because the mariachi band sings to you.

I have eaten at this lovely atmosphere which lends itself to an enjoyable time. the food is excellent and the menue is varied. The service is first class and there is a policy of customer's first. I tried the penny pasta and the New York strip which were excellent. prices are reasonable too.

Empire Szechuan is an excellent Chinese restaurant convieniently located off of i-84 on Main St in Southbury. Here they serve traditional Chinese meals with an emphasis on fresh ingredients, good presentation, and excellent execution in preparation. The menu here is typical of what you would expect in any Chinese restaurant with an added bonus of a sushi bar and some dishes for those of us that are more health concious (prepared by steaming and without MSG).
The interior of this restaurant is large, but the warm lighting and elegant table settings and environmental decor make it very inviting. The service is hit or miss- mostly miss, but who cares when the food is so fabulous.

This is one of the best values in the Southbury area. We started going to the Rathskeller 4 years ago after new owners upgraded it. The food is first class- excellent in fact. I'd not have expected to find entrees of this quality hidden at the back side of an office building. Atmosphere is very friendly and the wait staff is attentive, friendly.

I would recommend dilley floors to anyone needing a sanding job on their floors. they were neat, on time and did a beautiful job on my living room floor. I was very happy to see such a beautiful floor come to life. I have dealt with them in the past and was glad to see that their standards haven't changed. the price was also very fair.
