This store is conveniently located right on a main street with easy access in/out, although a busy area. The merchandise is so unique-quite a bit by local artisans. It is a great place to just stop in and browse. If you are looking for a gift-no matter what price range, you should be able to find it here. This is one of my favorite places.

This is a great place to shop for a fancy dress or casual wear. The prices are a bit high, but most of the clothing is of good quality. It's one of the few places in town you can find a class cocktail dress.

This is one stop shopping for all things kids from birth until, well, until they have kids of their own. Cribs, car seats, crayons, you name it, Kids Town carries it all. This is one of trendy kid's stores that trucks in toys and games that stress learning and imagination over pure plastic fantasy. You won't find G.I. Joe establishing a beachhead on the shelves, but you will find army men and costumes that let children pretend to be a firefighter or a knight. Don't look for Barbie or Bratz here either, the dolls at Kids Town try to do more for young girl's than exhibit the latest trends in belly shirts and go-go boats. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable when it comes to buying furniture or other big ticket items like car seats and jogger-strollers. Kid's Town carries the top-of-the-line toys, games, clothes for kids, so don't expect to get out of their for what you could pay at a chain or discount retailer. Kid's Town also operates an annex in Williston, Vermont that sells remaindered, overstocked, and gently used items in Williston, Vermont. If you are looking for deals (and they are to do had just not in the main store) check out the annex. Kid's Town -- great for the kid and the kid in all of us -- just make sure somebody brings the cash.

This store is a very high end women's clothing store. The prices are quite high on all merchandise. I have found the same garments else where for a fraction of the price. The selection is quite good. Sales staff tends to hover over you and not terribly helpful, you feel more like they are watching you rather than trying to assist.

It's a Barnes and Noble, what can I tell you that you don't already know. This is one of the "big" Barnes & Noble stores, lots of space for lots of books. On average the shelves are stocked with many titles from one author and other more obscure authors that you can't always (or ever) find in smaller bookstores or even other chain retailers. The two unique aspects of this particular Barnes & Noble are a sale annex for used and remaindered books and a great children's section. The sale annex is often hit or miss on used titles, but the prices make it worth the trouble to hunt down a title that would probably cost three or four times if you bought it brand new. The store really tries to localize itself by providing in-store events like local author signings and a children's story-time on Saturdays.
