This place is amazing. The food is really good, and well worth the price. The chips and 3 different kinds of salsa they give you before your meal is really good. Also, the appearance of their dishes are fantastic. It makes you feel as though you are in an expensive restaurant.

I never imagined Diesel Cafe to be as large as it is until the day I decided to walk all the way through. They not only have have good coffee and treats, but also a giant room offering a whole world of possibilities: pool. board games, etc. Most coffee houses typically have a corner filled with beat-up books and boardgames, but not here! Here the board games look as if they were just bought! Not one checker missing! Nothing like playing a game of dominos while being wired on coffee!

The Somerville Theater is one of the great finds in Davis Square. It's both a second-run movie theater, and a concert venue. The movie prices are lower than what you would pay at a large chain, and the movies are not so far after release that you wouldn't want to see them anymore. The live music always draws a large crowd as well. Located literally seconds away from the red line T station, it is very accessible.

Last night I went to Tip Top in Cambridge/Somerville looking for some good sushi. Unfortunately, I did not find it. I ordered a miso soup, salad, and sashimi. I don't know how you screw up miso soup but it tasted so toxic I had to send it back. Second, I don't know how you screw up salad but they did. At the very least, the sashimi was good. I think they are trying to accomplish too many genres of food to master any one kind. If you do choose to venture over to Tip Top, I would stick with the sushi or sashimi.

I took my longhaired cat here when she got matted beyond belief almost instantly during a heat wave. Teresa was friendly, good to my cat, and cleaned her up really well. The hours are a little inconvenient if you work 9-5 full time. Eventually I took my grooming needs to Animal Spirit, which had better hours (Saturdays) as well as the critical "cats only" day (important if your cat gets freaked out by dogs).

I'm all done with this company. Four times I had reservations and was left calling trying to go on a business trip. Cars are awfull, no one can talk to you, they chat on the cell phone while driving like nuts. No thank you call around.
