Antonias plates are all about $15. I thought it would be much more expensive as the ambiance is more upscale. They have 4-6 tables outside on Davis square.
I had the chicken in red sauce and I thought it was mearly so-so. The sauce was too tomatoey.
It is very romantic and a perfect spot for at date (probabaly 2nd date, you don't want to waste the heavy artillery on a first date) as the sound level is plesent, but not too quite.

I live near this restaurant so it gets a lot of my business mainly because it is close.
The grinders are huge and greasy, the fishermen's platter is a plate of mounded fried scallops/clams/cod.
The prices are decent. Plus they deliver.

I know some people really love this place, and I know it has a bunch of vegetarian and vegan options. Personally, I find it hard to find something on the menu here that I feel like eating. It's nothing that's wrong with the food, exactly, it's just not my style. Even the smoothies aren't flavors I'm into. I admit, I groan whenever someone suggests we go eat there. Maybe it's just my die-hard bland-palate-ed ways.

Cafe Rustica is conveniently located next to a laundromat, but you don't have to be waiting for a washer to want a cup of coffee. Rustica is a soothing place to settle in with the morning paper and some espresso or tea. The muffins are delicious and the staff is friendly. There are only a few tables. The cafe is also only open until 7, but I guess this area doesn't get so much foot traffic. Worth a stop if you're in the area or poking around at Home.

My husband and I have ordered our chinese food from China Delight for years now - even before we lived where we live now. It is so good. Every once in a while, we've tried substituting in other chinese places to see if a closer place might be just as good, but we have not found a better place yet. We especially love the orange chicken - it is soooo good! We would highly recommend this place (it is located directly next to the Brooks Pharmacy on Somerville Ave).

Words can barely describe the food at Dali's. The tapas (small appetizer portions of dishes) that are served here are miniature works of art (fitting name)!
They serve a big basket of bread with your meal, so you can dip it in all the wonderful sauces that come with the tapas. There are about 30-40 tapas to choose from, including many choices for vegetarians.The place gets very crowded so get there early or expect to wait. They do have a great bar with a great wine selection.

I love Diesel, they serve some of my favorite tea blends -- but my only complaint is that it is SO crowded. Anytime I try to meet a friend it's nearly impossible to get a seat. Students show up and take over an entire booth (that could seat 4) just for themself and their laptop. They camp out for HOURS. I wish there was a place designated for studying - and then the rest of the place for regular customers.

This place is inexpensive, tasty, and friendly. The ingredients are always fresh, the fried rice is light and fluffy instead of greasy and always has vegetables in it, and everything tastes like it was made just to order. Free delivery in the Somerville area. The Thai food is pretty good too, especially the Thai fried rice with pineapple.

This review is specifically for their breakfest menu. I love the bar and eating here for dinner, but the breakfest is completly discusting.
The french toast was covered with syrupy sticky concoction that made my stomach turn.
If you want an adventure go to el guapa, if you want a basic american breakfest you could do better at another resteraunt (sound bites, kellys, true grounds, etc. . .)
