Downtown Wine & Spirits has an amazing selection. Besides a wide range of wine and spirits, the beer assortment here includes tons of regional brews alongside more standard fare. The staff here are always polite and helpful, and there are plenty of mixers, sodas, and snacks to be found as well.

Downtown Wine & Spirits has an amazing selection. Besides a wide range of wine and spirits, the beer assortment here includes tons of regional brews alongside more standard fare. The staff here are always polite and helpful, and there are plenty of mixers, sodas, and snacks to be found as well.

Downtown Wine & Spirits is a great place to go for a gift bottle of wine when you have no clue what you're doing. Some staff members (the guy with the big beard comes to mind) totally know what they're talking about; I came in here for a bottle of wine for my dad, who has specific tastes, and the clerk gave me a mini-tour of Bordeaux wines, even opening a bottle so I could taste one. They also have a great selection of beer, wine, and exotic stuff like mead. There is a free tasting/wine class on, I think, Wednesday nights - ask the clerks. I love this place.
