Who doesn't love Anna's Taquerias? Nobody! They are so good. The portions are enormous. Many times, I have ordered a burrito, finished half during the meal, wrapped up the other half and eaten it the next day for lunch (and been full after both meals!). They are just really hearty burritos - the chicken, beans and steak and cheese will really fill you up. They are great! I have only really been to the location in the Porter Square mall, at which I have had great experiences, but I know that I have heard great things about all the locations.
Enjoy!

For a fast, cheap meal, nothing beats Anna's. Hang back and read the board if it's your first time. The staff barks at you, "Cheese? Beans? Chicken?" and hover with waiting spoon for your answer. Be aware that your $3 rice and bean burrito will go over $4 if you add guacamole and salsa etc. But still, hard to lose here. Tightly rolled burritos, fresh ingredients, totally addictive. Spring for the secret boiled chicken (to the upper left as you look at the food trays) for a real treat. Vegetarians note, the rice is made with chicken broth, but many vegetarians "cheat" and eat it anyway. The place is low on atmosphere but Anna's gives you the perfect portable dinner.

I would eat at Anna's every night if I could. I absolutely adore their Super Burritos with either chicken or steak and refried beans. I have no idea about the authenticity of their food, but I do know that it makes my stomach very happy.
Anna's is really ideal as something to pick up on the way home. The restuarant itself is quite small and crowded and often times it smells of whatever is on the grill. I would also recommend that you know what you are going to order before you get near the counter. The staff tries to move you through the line as fast as possible and you have to speak up and be very clear about what you want and do not want before they start slapping your food together.

Title says it all. I moved from California several years ago and have been complaining about a lack of good Mexican food. Then I found Anna's. Cheap, fast, delicious. A quick cheap meal. I recommend the Super Burrito if you are in need of a meal. Includes, rice, beans (choice of black vs pinto), salsa, hot sauce, peppers, ... I could eat there every day of the week. Your choice of meat: chicken, steak, carnitas.

Anna's, part of a small chain, is one of the places that we visit periodically. It is right in the Davis Square area and is pretty popular. There is usually a short line to order, but it goes very quickly. The burritos are the best, but the whole usual range of TexMex is available. There is a seating area within the restaurant, though it can get crowded, so getting your dinner to go may be a better option. The prices are on the cheaper side, though not as cheap as some really authentic places. I definitely recommended for a casual meal.

Delicious and filling meal for under $5? Not too many other options. It does seem that they burritos have gotten a little slimmer over the years, but they are still huge and filling. You can hover over the burrito maker and tell him exactly what you want (black beans? extra hot sauce? a little grilled onion? they'll pretty much do whatever you ask). The place gets very crowded, but at peak times when they've got both lines going, things move pretty quickly (though sometimes it's hard to find a seat). Across the street from Porter Square T stop, or risk the health of your car and park in the big parking lot (or try the smaller Galleria parking lot).
