I love haitian food. Compare to all the other caribbeans food. People can talk trash but try some jamaican food to see if it's better than haitian. Hell no! Haitian food is good but needs improvement by cutting on salt and oil. The haitian community is so unhealthy because of their good food but unfortunately unhealthy. Many of them suffer from diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, high cholesterol etc.. Many of them are unaware that is because of the yummy food they eat daily. Highland cuisine is always crazy busy. People usually don't go there and seat and eat. They usually call and make orders and come get their food and leave. Well I will say first that most of them are hard workers and they always busy and on the go. The second reason I will say maybe if Highland change the inside of the restaurant and had more parkings people will seat and eat and chat and meet new people in their community. Highland needs to change the appearance of the outside and inside of the restaurant. Come on guys it's not like you are broke. I am not talking to the servers but the managment. You have been making a lot of money over the years. You can defenitely afford a little renovation of this restaurant. And maybe the Phanthom gournet can visit you guys and make the haitian community proud. And enjoy a nice haitian atmosphere and see haitian people finally seating at tables and eating and enjoying their food. Not seeing a bunch of hungry people waiting at the counter. And also approved you guys because I am sure if the Phanthom came it will get a bad number. The food is not bad but again the decor is bad. They have 2 big screens tvs it's great but again I am not liking the chair and tables and plastic tablecloths and the small bathroom. The male servers are nice.
