After reading about the popularity of this restaurant and the need to book two days in advance, I was suprised to find the restaurant almost empty...course, it was a Wednesday evening. Still, that just meant better service for us! Everything was top notch - absolutely delicious food, attentive service and good music completed the ambiance.
You won't be disappointed if you try this restaurant - though I'm not a popcorn person, even that was phenomenal!
Pros: Comfortable banquettes, phenomenal food and drink, attentive service, lovely ambiance
Cons: Unfortunately, no view of the water

I've been going to Amanda (for cuts) and Kelly (for high and low lights) for a couple of years and I adore them both. They are true professionals who take great pride in their work and never assume that they know what I want but take great care to ask me how I've been feeling about my hair and what direction do I want to go in this time, etc. And the results are beautiful.
I love the overall feel of the salon. It's hip, but not crazy....very relaxing and friendly. The shampoo massage is the best. And I love the Bumble and Bumble line.
I am normally cost conscious, but I love Salon Radius and feel that I am getting real value for the $$. I look forward to my appointments!
Pros: Beautiful results, relaxing experience

Have a craving for table side cooking? Samurai brings the heat with out the circus sideshow. Fresh vegetables, big cuts of meats with the sauces to compliment; this meal leaves you wanting more. Leftovers are just as good next day, so don't feel shy asking for a box to go. Whether Rich or Rob is cooking your food, every bite will be one to remember. My personal favorite: Filet and Shrimp.
Pros: Good food without the show

Of all the sushi restaurants I've tried in San Diego, this is the best. Go for the daily (by daily, I mean seven days a week!) happy hour specials and you'll feel like you've struck gold. As mentioned, the Monkey Stick is supreme. Best roll I've ever eaten and it's even made without rice. Two big thumbs up for this beachy sushi bar. I'm on my way now.
Pros: Tastiest sushi in San Diego. Yum! Happy Hour until 7 p.m. every day.
Cons: The service can be slow during rush hour (aka Happy Hour).

A regular spot for us to grab a drink or two or three....
before we head out on the town or for a night cap on the way home. Bar is fun, definitely an older crowd that has earned it its dub: the cougar den.. but don't let it fool you, the young kids, 20's and 30's show up around 10 to hang out and listen/dance to the live piano bar in the lounge.. For dining, the steaks and prime rib are equivalent if not better than major steakhouses, donovans, ruth chris, maitre d, manhattan room, mr. A's, mcormick and schmidt's....only Red Tracton's has a romantic, friendly home-feel enviornment to it. Staff is impeccable and cannot be beat. Super friendly, really go out of their way to make your experience absolutely superb!! After only 3 visits, the host, bartender etc. all remembered our names and we can't help but returning for the impeccable service, friendly atomosphere, and FANTASTIC food. PS. if you dine there be sure and order a loaded bake potato. Servings are plentiful, splitting recommended. You won't be disappointed!!

This place is great for anyone of any age! I've been eating here a few times per year since I was born (1984). It's a little bit challenging to find, but look for an older hacienda style white building on the corner of the street. The food is some of the BEST, most tasty mexican food that also looks better than any other mexican food in north county!
