Brookside bagels is by far the greatest bagel joint, this extrema of the Farmington valley. Best munchie food ever. Good seating (in the back) and the service is impeccable.

I have been to Brookside Bagels a few times. There has not been a great selection of bagels when I have been there. The bagels are good. The staff was friendly and there is plenty of seating...but they need to have a bigger variety.

This small place on busy Hopmeadow Street can get quite the rush. As a result it can get crowded in the morning. This is a bakery with only a few places to sit. The bagles are bland and not very chewy. Pros: Convience Cons: Bagels are lacking

These bagels are delicious. With the normal variety plus daily specials and favorites such as their cheddar bagel and cinnamon and sugar bagel, Brookside provides the bagel addict with exactly what they need. They also make breakfast sandwhiches and deli bagel-whiches making it a perfect destination for a lunch break. There are a few tables to sit at in the store and the staff is friendly and conversational. The best part about Brookside, however, is the cream cheese. While it most likely shortens your life span by at least six months per bagel, their homemade cream cheese is incredibly good, tasting faintly of vanilla and being thick and creamy at the same time. They pile it on the bagels too, and i've been known to order a bagel just to lick the cream cheese delectably when no one is looking. While that sounds just plain fat of me, you'll understand once you checkout Brookside Bagels and realize how good a bagel can be.
