The Harvest Cafe began years back selling excellent bread and serving expensive breakfast meals. It has come a long way since then and the food menu has expanded while the prices have come down to earth. On the North End of Simsbury, it is a perfect stop off to or from the airport to either say goodbye or welcome someone to town. The waiters and waitresses are friendly and the food is absolutely delicious. You do pay somewhat higher than say at a Bickford's, but I would hope so. The independent, small, but successful cafe and bakery are a great breakfast nook that will leave you satisfied.

the lovely lady that ran this shop for years and provided so much to her customers and community has been affected by high taxes and the economy and is closing the doors.
She provided so much more than just a shop that I know I will miss her and so many others will as well.
Such a shame. It will not be the same with out this bright spot in the area.

This is a nice restaurant. We have been there for lunch and dinner. In the summer we like to sit outside. The food is good and reasonably priced. The kids like to see all the old train memorabilia they have there. Also they have an old train in the back.

Simply put you will not find any place with a greater selection of the freshest fish. Truly authentic sushi, no gimmicky rolls loaded with mayonnaise. Do yourself a favor by sitting at the bar and ordering omakase sushi or sashimi. Don't be afraid to try anything Chef Maeda puts on your plate.
As for cooked food the shrimp shumai is phenomenal as I am sure everything else is. I have been over twenty times and still crave Maeda daily.
Pros: Unmatched for sushi and sashimi in CT.
Cons: It's not cheap but it's worth every penny.

I came home from school to find a new pizza entering my home come friday night. It smelled delicious, looked delicious and my mom assured me it was delicious. But I can't just welcome a new pizza into my life without a little suspicion. I've been hurt too many times to open myself up just like that. It's sad, but it's true. I gazed warily at the crispy crust and the bubbling cheese over the thin dough. It was greasy in all the right places. Slowly, tentatively, as if for the first time, I lifted a long slice from the box and brought it to my mouth. My mom was smiling and I knew that my face was following suit. The pizza WAS delicious. In the months that followed, Little City Pizza found its place alongside City Pizza (unrelated), and Luna Pizza as a welcome house guest. Perhaps that's a bad analogy in that it means we eat our houseguests...but either way, it's a fantastic place for pizza, and it's if house guests taste like it does..well, let's just hope I don't get a late night craving.

Main Moon is one of, if not the best chinese take-out restaurant in the farmington valley. All of the food is delicious, the portions are large and the prices are in the middle range (what you'd expect). The food is made quickly and it's located in downtown simsbury, so it's just a quick drive from anywhere in the vicinity. I recommend the Crispy Chicken, any of the Lo-Mein, and especially the fried rice, which is the best fried rice i've had in all of the Northeast. Main Moon is Chinese take-out at its finest.

I used a gift certificate that I recieved from a friend here and I otherwise would not have come here but I am so glad that i did. I had a great time. They give great facials here. I love the customer service, the prices are reasonable and the staff are super friendly. They always have specials. Check them out i say!
