All the counselors here are great. They offer one on one therapy, marriage counseling, family therapy, child therapy. They do take insurance. They are fairly accommodating with schedules. The office is very quiet and peaceful. A session includes a lot of personal reflection and the counselors help you to figure your solution rather than giving you the answers.

Paint Pals is a great place to take kids for an out-of-the-ordinary activity. Kids can paint ceramic figurines, etc that they pick out and pay for. Objects are then fired on site. They also have other activities including karaoke, play rooms, bubbles, etc. Kids can literally spend hours there and it's a nice change from the movies, swimming pool, or arcade.

They have a lot of pets here that need good homes. The staff is all very nice and helpful. You have to fill out an application and often do a home check. The animals have been well taken care of while at ARV including having shots and getting spayed if needed. They take a $200 donation for the pet which covers the operating costs.

They do pet adoptions every other weekend. They also have a discount club if you sign up. Flyers are posted for adoptions or pets for sale. They cater to dogs, cats, fish, reptiles.
