Now that Wheaton mall has been renovated is it one of my favorites. They got rid of a lot of stores and added better, more high end ones. There is now a Macy's and a Target. The mall now looks like MOntgomery Mall and there is a better crowd.

The Tropical Lagoon is a small aquarium store hidden on Georgia Ave. Where do I begin? The store is very overrun with aquariums; it's as if they had to compensate for the small space but tossing in as many tanks as possible. The selection of fish is very slim once you get past all the algae and slim on the glass. The saltwater section is a joke, they over charge for half dead coral frags, and the health frags are infested with red worms. I've only been to this store once, and I'll do everything in my power to keep it that way.

Well pay a visit to toy traders. It's a toy resale store where you can bring your "previously owned" toys with all their pieces and parts intact and working. The store will either buy them outright or give you store credit to purchase some of the many other used toys they have in their inventory. This store is well loved among the kiddie set and you can imagine why. Call ahead for information on what items are being purchased and when.

After the renovation, Taj Sweet & Spice is a very nice place to shop for South Asian spice, snacks, sweets, rice, CDs, and DVDs. The store is very neat and clean. Their pricing is fair compared to the other Indian stores. The store keepers are very friendly with customers. They have new Indians movies as soon as they are released. Sometimes, they sell some items for cheaper than the other Indian stores. They also take customer comments very seriously to improve their service.
