This place is great for special occasions. They now have buffet on the weekend for breakfast/brunch. Its a great buffet at a very good price for what is offered. Lots of free parking too.

My family of four and I decided to try the Sunday brunch at Mrs. K's. My sister, in her 60's, was on crutches due to a broken foot. We requested a table near the buffet but the staff refused to accommodate us. They, instead, marched us up steps, through other rooms and into the small back room... the farthest from the buffet and very cold. My mother, in her late 80s and dad in his 90s had a hard time navigating to the buffet, let alone my sister on crutches. On one of the visits to the buffet, I noticed the hostess seating a party that didnt even have a reservation, at a table close to the buffet. Ill never forget this scenario and will never, ever go back. By the way, the food and the selection were nothing to write home about either.

Outlined in tiny, winking lights and surrounded by lush foliage, this restaurant does not seem to belong on a busy streetcorner. Once you pass inside the garden gate, however, you enter a little nest of Old World charm all its own. From the wonderful (if rather pricy) food to the antique glass displays, Mrs. K's is a sheer delight.
Pros: decor, roomy, good food
Cons: parking, not cheap
