I have no equilibrium and while catching myself I suffered from an acutely injured left shoulder and was referred to Dr. Gilbert at most by a therapist.
This is a young and energetic doctor who can accurately draw your problems out on the exam table paper and describe everything to you. This impressed me to no end as other doctors might use a chart. He knows exactly what is going on.
It must be said that Dr. Gilbert was part of the USA soccer team and is quick to diagnose what is presented. He prescribed physical rehabilitation to build up the injured area before performing surgery on me to repair the damage in a quick outpatient procedure.
The therapy before surgery made recovery time very short and my shoulder is stronger than my predominant right shoulder.
I broke my right ankle around that same time and Dr. Gilbert put me into an ankle boot and had me on my feet within 6 weeks. He made drawings of what I had broken and made me understand the healing process quite clearly.
I recommend Dr. Gilbert to anyone.

I can't imagine getting better care before, during and after surgery than I received from Dr. Gilbert, Mrs. Koebel and the PT staff at M.O.S.T. I had been unable to do any physical exercise for more than a year due to chronic weakness and torn ligaments in my ankle- in fact, just walking had gotten to be very painful at times. My surgery was on Oct. 3, 2008 and I was playing touch football this Thanksgiving... thanks to all at M.O.S.T. for the excellent results. My injured shoulder is next to be repaired and I wouldn't think of going anywhere else...

I had a Plica resection surgery about 23 weeks ago that Dr. Gilbert did and the surgery failed. The physical therapy staff at MOST is excellent but I will not go back there because they are associated and affiliated with the doctors. Dr. Gilbet was very sure that this surgery would work and that I would be back swimming in about four weeks. After about six weeks of PT I still had increased pain and Dr. Gilbert did not know what to do and recommended getting a second opinion. When I asked who he recommended he only said his partners. He did not do anything else or go out of his way to help me with my recovery. In addition when I got the doctors notes to show another doctor there were things in the doctors notes that he had never discussed with me. After I saw another doctor was when I found out that the Plica surgery that I had has a very low success rate.

I have been a loyal M.O.S.T. client for more than 5 years and have yet to find a more knowledgable or dedicated staff of doctors and therapists- Dr. Gilbert in particular. I have sustained numerous sports related injuries in my lifetime- from sprains, dislocations and broken bones to chronic back problems- and I would not be near the level of fitness I currently enjoy with without the excellent care I receive at M.O.S.T.

M.O.S.T. Took me through the whole process of trying to get an ACL recontruction and then 2 days before the surgery I hear from my Athletic Trainer that Maria cancelled my surgery because they don't accept HMO only PPO. (Hmmm....this reminds me of John Q.) At lease they could have told me that before I had scheduled 2 appointments and then charged me for them when I'm not even accepted!!! Then I try to talk to Dr. Gilbert but he cannot return phone calls at all!!! Maybe you should have LESS PATIENTS!!! Did not have a good time at M.O.S.T. and I do not recommend it.

M.O.S.T. has so many clients it doesn't know what to do! The doctors on site don't do much (at least for me) besides take x-rays and prescribe meds and the physical therapists have to deal with several patients at a time. This meant that the therapist would tell me to do an exercise and walk away, leaving me unsure if I was doing it correctly or not. I left this place to go somewhere with a little more one on one attention.
