Chuck Levin's has been around for a while and it remains to be THE place to purchase your musical instruments. They have a fabulous variety of all the instruments you might want, from guitars and keyboards to harmonicas and recorders. They also sell accessories and sheet music. The staff is friendly and they let you play any instrument that you might want to try out (except, of course, those that require you to use your mouth). Prices are about comparable to other places you'd shop for instruments.

Chuck Levin's has been around for a while and it remains to be THE place to purchase your musical instruments. Chuck Levin may have passed away but his legacy lives on through his great store. Chuck Levin's Washington Music Store is right off the Red-Line Metro and is awesome. Great selection, great prices, great staff and you can play anything. Also, you get to go up the longest escalator I've ever seen coming out of the Wheaton Metro station.
