I can remember the fun I had back in the day in middle school everyday going to Errter's across the street like it was yesterday. I would spend about $10-$15 a week just on there. One day my dad even gave me $40 to save and there it went to Errter's. I can't believe I didn't review this place in the beginning. this place it the BEST store. I went there SO much, I even won "MOST LIKELY TO BE SEEN AT ERRTER'S" At Silver Spring Int'l Middle School in the yearbook (next to my friend who was the daughter's of the owner). So don't waste your time going to 7-11 if you're in need of some snacks, just take some time to go there (by Downtown Silver Spring) and have fun!

This place used to be a haven for high school kids when Montgomery Blair High was in its original location. The high school has since been moved and the building has been renovated into a high school and elementary school. So this means that the kids are still around and waiting to raid the market come the end of school. So just stay away during the after-school rush around 2:30. Otherwise this is a good place to stop in if you need a few items, saving you the trip to a bigger, full scale market. The prices are about the same as a regular store, but it is a nice place for people in the neighborhood to run to if they realize that they are out of milk or cookies. A lot of their available food is junkfood simply because that is what the kids tend to crave when they get out of class, but they have the basic stuff that you would find at any convenience store.
