Dr. Marc Katz was found in violation of the Veterinary Practice Act by the Maryland Veterinary Board, Docket # 05-005, in February 2006. This is a matter of public record and can be verified with the Attorney General's office. Dr. Katz left my diabetic cat, who was his patient, in the care of his son -- a young man with no FORMAL veterinary training, who was not a licensed veterinary technician, and who was allowed to give insulin injections to my cat with NO supervision. According to their erstwhile admissions, his son picked up the wrong syringe to give my cat his insulin, and my cat subsequently went into severe hypoglycemic seizures, which according to the records of the hospital that cared for him afterwards, were due to a huge insulin overdose given by Dr. Katz son. Dr. Katz is, in my opinion, clearly irresponsible. Moreover, I believe that he lied to me in the wake of these events, and is both negligent and dishonest.
In summary, I think he is DANGEROUS and unethical. There are many more trustworthy and competent vets than he.
Why put your pets in danger? You need a vet you can trust. This is not the behavior of a trustworthy vet.

In a routine physical, Dr. Baksh found a small lump on my throat that turned out to be thyroid cancer. I don't know how she felt it. I couldn't even feel it after she showed me exactly where it was. Fortunately it was caught very early and I have recovered fully. She is the best doctor ever. Also, the staff at healthy steps is very professional and polite. I highly recommend going there!

The Pediatric Associates office is nicely set up with small chairs and tables for kids to play on while waiting and kids magazines. The receptionists are friendly and helpful. They only downside to the facility is that it is a little run-down. The wallpaper seems old and faded and the examining tables had torn covers. The doctor we saw was very nice and helpful and seem to know how to treat small children with special needs.

Even though they are a large practice, I feel that every doctor knows me personally. The drs all seem to have the same ideas in treating their patients. They have admitting rights to Holy Cross Hospital. I have been a patient at this practice for years and plan on being for a long time to come.

Dr. Miller is a pretty no nonsense kind of guy. He is just there to do his job and if you go see him, you're just there to be his patient. He's a nice guy, he's just not the type ask you questions about your kids while checking for cavaties or for holding your hand during root canals. Personally, this is a perfect arrangement. The last thing I want to do at the dentist office is answer a bunch of questions with my mouth full of flouride. The office itself is very welcoming, with a small waiting room and a friendly receptionist. The hygenists are kind, too (and they talk a little more than the doctor does).

I came to Kessler after feeling a little ignored at a different physical therapy center, and I was plesantly surprised by the quality of this place. It is a pretty small facility with one big room with a few old machines, but the PTs were just so friendly and helpful. When I went they immediately worked with me to figure out a schedule and a group of activities to do help me recover. They worked with me is the key. My PT watched me do the exercises, changed them if they weren't enough or were too much and made sure that I knew exactly what I was doing. This made it a lot easier to do my exercises at home. Maybe it was partly psycho-somatic but I felt so much improvement after just a few visits to this place.

Dr. Friedland has been my primary care physician for four years. The office is usually very busy but they make every attempt to get you on the schedule at a convenient time. Expect to wait when you get there. Dr. Friedland takes the time to listen to any concerns that you have. I have received referrals in a timely manner. Sometimes the front desk staff is a little rude, but overall I have no real complaints.

I like Doctor Glenn a lot; he's a nice, soft-spoken guy who is always really helpful when I go in. However, I don't particularly like the practice that he works in simply because it is very high-traffic. They have so many patients that when you go in it is usually a pretty quick visit where you only discuss the major facts at hand. There isn't really time to get to know your doctor at this place, or for him to really get to know you. That said, this is a good place because they are very willing to listen, even if it is only for a few minutes. It is always possible to get a last-minute appointment if you call the day of and are genuinely in need of a physician.
