Our favorite is Bahn Thai in Silverdale. Their food and service are great, and we're picky when it comes to thai. I can't remember the names of dishes, but highlights are the crispy basil tofu, the Plig King tofu, the first item on the beef menu (I'm a veggie who often eats out with meateaters, so I don't pay attention to that particular part of the menu but it always gets rave reviews) and the fried spring rolls. Their tofu dishes are delicious generally.

started out as a small nursery, has expanded into a destination! everything that you could need as far as plants or garden statuary, also has koi, some smaller ones for sale, and some huge fish in a big pond. My kids love going just to walk around and see all the plants and watch the fish. There is also a tropical salt water fish store in the middle of the nursery that is interesting to look through.

Kitsap Mall is like any other mall. I like to go here and browse the shops inside. This place has a nice clean look to it. Some of the shops inside include Bath and Body Works, VIctorias Secret, The Disney Store, Macys, JCPenneys, and much more. They have a food court with a good variety of foods to choose from. Like any other mall at Christmas time you can come see Santa, Easter you can come see the Easter Bunny, etc. This is a great place to get alot of your shopping done.

The as seen on tv store is exactly that - all kinds of items that have been on tv infomercials. A little bit expensive but if you are looking for unique or hard to find items this is the place to look... found a washing device for "hats" that holds the shape of the hat firmly while it is placed in a dishwasher or washing machine to be cleaned... great item for any guy who is picky about his hats - they are not cheap these days! Something for everybody here and kid friendly enviornment!

The first wednesday of each month Mary Bridge offers free carseat safety checks for anybody - no appointment necessary. They will check the carseats to be sure they are appropriate for each child and properly installed. They also provide replacement seats for those who need them on a donation basis. Worth a few minutes of time to check this out if you have kids - I learned a lot!

Much better than the Bremerton Harrison hospital... there is typically no waiting for emergency services and they offer a very comfortable setting for same day surgery and post-pardum care.
