The place is FUN! I've been several times with friends. The bigger your dinner party the more fun and be sure you dance! We heard The Pack, a band that plays everything from Jimmy Buffet to Jimi Hendrix and Johnny Cash to Jonny Lang! The band let me dance on stage and play the tamborine. I love the singer and I think his brother is the drummer. If you want a party atmosphere with great food, you've got to check out the Superior bar and grill.

My wife and I stopped in Monday on our escape from hurricane Gustav and were pleasently supprised. We were seated promptly and in no time a basket of hot chips and salsa arrived. We ordered a pitcher of top shelf margaritas, most of the time these can be to sweet but these were excellent especially with Cabo Wabo tequilla ! We then split a "combinaciones" fajitas, these were excellent. They came sizzling and smoking to the table while everyone looked on. I could tell some nearby diners wanted to change their orders ! This came with some excellent guacomole and a buttery sourcream. As for the service....very good, we were seated promptly and our waitress Patricia took care of us. This has been by far the best dining experience since we escaped hurricane Gustav from New Orleans. This is just as good as the Superior in New Orleans. Definately going back before going home ! Superior has been very popular here and for good reason for a long time. The food is great , particularly the queso which is real melted cheese,..not the cheese whiz you get at most places, the tortilla soup and the chicken enchiladas. The down side is,..its often so packed that you often have to wait long periods for a table and because the server is juggling,..might not be the most attentive.
