The original location near Line Avenue is the only place I recommend of the four in Shreveport. The food is plentiful, the ambiance great! Some say the sauce is too sweet, but that is a matter of taste. My late husband LOVED it! Salads are good too, the muffaletta excellent, and you can purchase the sauce and other goodies to take home.

I loved working at Monjunis! I never saw bugs or pest of any kind in the kitchen or anywhere else.I was very suprised when I started working there last summer how clean we HAVE to keep everything. At the closing we cleaned and we were checked over by Richard or the manager Todd and if they found something half done we all stayed and got checked again. THe owner, manager, and staff are always great!

Wonderful lasagna. Sweet sauce can be addictive. Bottled olive spread is wonderful on pasta and breads at home. Atmosphere, who cares? Lots of food. Big sandwiches. Take home for later. What else can you expect away from Italy? Pay no attention to cranks on the (1) bad review. You will love it. We have come to La. for years to eat at Monjuni's original cafe. Don't waste time with the franchise types.
Pros: All Delicious and different Italian with lots to take home
Cons: Parking/so go early.

Best dine-in Italian food in town. Monjuni's is the best lasagna in town. They are known for their sweet sauce and their spiced tea. Their desserts are nothing to sneeze at either, the best being the Milky Way cake. Go there and you won't be disappointed!
