Albertsons is a known Grocery and Drug Store. Their Prices are a little on the higher side but they do have great Sales and with Coupons you can actually save allot of $. They have a Movie Rental Section as well as a different Entrance to purchase Alcoholic Beverages. They have fresh baked European Bread and Rolls that I LOVE.

Excellent customer service and great food. The lunch buffet is some of the best soul food around and reminds me of mom's cooking.
Beautiful background music, mainly jazz, set the tone for the evening if dinner is your choice. Steaks are good and they make their own salads and croutons.
I know it is not politically correct to mention this, but the owner is African-American, as is the entire staff, but the customers are mainly white. You will leave feeling like you are all one, big family which is encouraging.

If you are looking for something different to eat in Louisiana then this is one place to try. Authentic Greek food is served here. They have delicious salads if you are not so sure about the main courses they have to offer. You can't go wrong with the Gyros they serve here though. This is one of my favorite places to eat around town. Gives you a chance to experience a different taste since there are mostly seafood and hot sauce style places around town. Excellent and they know the menu very well. If you aren't sure what to try ask them they won't steer you wrong!

We went to Bears when visiting Shreveport a few months age. Neat place. Old bar with tons and tons of atmosphere. Good food. Crawfish bread and ettouffee is to die for. Good cold beer - very refreshing. Excellent service. And, extremely reasonable pricing. We fully plan on returning to this place for food, fun and drinks the next time we are in the area.
