A small but busy dining room, where the lights were a bit too bright, the dishes satisfactory, and the prices very good. We liked the white tablecloth treatment, and the garden greens and warmed rolls were a nice touch. But a more romantic setting with candles would help -- as would swinging doors separating the entrance to the dining room. Cold air rushed in every time someone came in to pick up a takeout order. The wine list was limited, but adequate, the wait staff was attentive, and portions were generous. For a trattoria, where it's all about the sauce that turned out to be rather bland. Hopefully, Trattoria Roma will improve with time.
