I stopped into Riverdale to grab a bite with a friend and it was ok. The server seemed a little aggravated and annoyed. The food was ok but not great,my favorite diner is in Stratford.

Uhh..this is the Riverdale Diner, not Dinner. anyway, you can have dinner here, or lunch or breakfast, anytime. It is large and clean and good service, no complaints.

If you're looking for a typical diner, this one will satisfy you. Riverdale has all your classic diner food (breakfast at midnight...etc...), but with one HUGE plus...it's actually clean inside. ... More
If you're looking for a typical diner, this one will satisfy you. Riverdale has all your classic diner food (breakfast at midnight...etc...), but with one HUGE plus...it's actually clean inside.
The servers are always very nice, and you can get seated right away. Also, they are open 24 hours, and have a good location (halfway between route 15 & route 8).
If you're going to pick a diner in Shelton, I would pick this one over Plaza diner. It's cleaner, no more expensive, and generally has better good & service.
PROS: open 24 hours, good location, good food/prices
