Excellent food, great service and reasonable prices. A couple will spend about $60/person including an appetizer, entree, drink and dessert. Cosmos are fabulous as well!
My favorite restaurant in this area.

I first visited Hunan Pan expecting a typical Hunan menu, but was both surprised and delighted to find sushi and other Japanese items on the menu. Excellent food, whatever your choice. The sushi is fresh and fantastic. Recommended.

This is really quite a nice restaurant and bar. Lots of good selections from the menu and a nice wine list. Don't be fooled by the strip mall location, this is one of the nicer Italian restaurants in the Shelton/Milford area.

Have been going here for years. The staff is very nice and courteous. The food is of typical diner fare. I especially like the hot open turkey sandwiches! The desserts are also very good, with the variety changing daily. They dont rush you through a meal and, though there are always customers, there is never a wait.

I was very disappointed after visiting Shelton Party World recently for my son's 16th birthday party. I guess that I was expecting it to be like Party World in Orange. Boy, was I wrong! The shelves were virtually empty and I even asked the salesgirl if they were going out of business. Tom my surprise she said that they weren't. They did have a very large display of balloons on the wall - whether or not they were available I do not know. I walked out not buying one thing and did end up making the 45 minute drive to Orange but ended up getting everything that I needed. Very small parking lot.

Center Deli in Huntigton center is an awesome place to get lunch. They have daily specials which are always great. My favorite is a mozzarella and red pepper sandwich, it is really good. An added bonus - my friends from work and I have nicknamed this hot guy deli, as it always seems to be filled with young blue collar guys grabbing sandwiches for lunch! The wait is usually not too long. They take credit and debit cards here too. The prices are pretty expensive, but the quality of the food is excellent.

Captains Pizza has been a pillar our family's eating plan for over 20+ years. This branch in Shelton is by far the best, with excellent ambiance, great food, and an excellent staff. For those unfamiliar with Captains Pizza, it is a chain of about 10 restaurants in Fairfield County, CT run by one family. The pizza is of a greek style and is unique in CT as far as I have been able to see. The staff here is always friendly and happy, and get to know their regulars very quickly. All of the food is also of excellent quality and whether you go Italian or basic American everything is excellent.
Only downside is that the bathrooms tend to be about 10 degrees hotter than an already-warm restaurant, uncomfortable though clean.
Pros: Excellent pizza, Superior Value, Excellent Staff
Cons: Bathrooms overly warm

Th River Road Danny O's- seems to cater to the more mature crowd although it is at times a mix. It is a fun and clean place to hang out with friends or to just watch a game. Play music, pool or darts and have a really great burger and a beer!
