Both of my children attended this school and they both had a very happy, positive experience. The teachers and teachers aides were excellent as well as the curriculum. I was impressed that for a nursery school you did have conferences with the teacher and the children were given report cards. A lot of extras at this school too, compared to others in the area. Teacher to child ratio was 10-1 with one teachers aide sharing her time between two classrooms. We were greeted each day by the director of the school before we even went in to see the teacher! At the time that my children went to Susanna Wesley, extended day was not offered. It now is. Tuition was very expensive but I thought it was worth every penny.

This nursery school has been around a very long time and is very well established within the community. It is located within the Huntington Congregational Church in Huntington Center. The two owners are lovely as well as the rest of the teaching staff. Very good rapport with the parents as well. Good curriculum and the teacher child ratio is 10 - 1 which is wonderful. If you ask for you will receive a list of parent recommendations which the owner will be happy to provide. The only downside to this school is that the downstairs of the church where the school is located, should be updated because it is very old.

I've taken my kids here for birthday parties on several occasions. The studio is large enough for a couple of long tables and the person that hosts it is quite calm and patient ( I guess she has to be to handle so many kids at once). They offer you several options as to what you'd like to paint and she takes care of the rest..the kids have fun and they can bring in cakes/punch/cupcakes, etc. My kids are always thrilled when they get invited to a party at this ceramics studio.

My husband and I recently visited here when trying to decide on a day care for our baby. Loved the fact that you had to be buzzed in for security but felt like it had way too many young, inexperienced high school girls working for them. We also felt that they had too many babies per one person. The director seemed nice enough as well as the staff but on our way out we didn't like the fact that one of the workers was pushing a stroller with about 4 to 6 children around in the very busy parking lot(shares parking lot with post office and very busy community center which the day care is in) We did end up going elsewhere.
