I personally do not have children enrolled anywhere anymore - they're all grown!!! But I do personally know the owner and operator of this business, and have visited her center on several occasions - both announced and unannounced. I have done clerical work for her on several occasions. The place is clean, the children are well cared for, the staff is professional and caring. If I had children in day care, this place would be tops on the list for their day care. Try it - you'll LOVE IT!!!

The Abuse Council of Shelby gets my highest rating...5 stars. They are the ones to go to for help if you are being abused or know someone who is. That can be physical or verbal, for men as well as women. They help provide resources and shelter for those in need. I have first hand witnessed activities and things they do. They really should be applauded for everything they do for the community and to those who need help. Sometimes the Star runs articles about them, and I am always amazed at how much support they provide. Keep their number handy. You may need it sometime for yourself, a friend, a relative, etc.

Attorney Keith Bloomer is the best attorney I have ever dealt with. He's very strong in what he does, leaving no small detail unturned. He keeps meticulous records, and his filing system is outstanding. He did my parents' estate for me, as well as some other business dealings for me. Not only does he explore the tiny things no one else cares about or does, but he does what needs to be done in a timely fashion. He is not like other attorneys who wait until 5 minutes before something is due. Mr. Bloomer does a lot of real estate closings as well. I recommend Keith Bloomer General Practice Attorney at the highest rating possible: five stars.

Mi Pueblito Mexican Restaurant certainly is the best Mexican restaurant in this area. We end up going at least 5 or 6 times a month, sometimes more. I have never been in a restaurant that is like this one. From the moment one walks in to he/she goes out the door, he/she is treated like a God. They are great there. The taste is wonderful, and the servers are great and extremely attentive. They have added another page on their menu and have "non-Mexican" foods. I recommend this restaurant at five stars.

Chick-Fil-A is located near the Walmart Supercenter and across the road at Kmart of East Dixon Blvd. They are my favorite fast food restaurant. I love them a lot. They have great chicken salads, but I can't stay away from their waffle fries, their chicken sandwiches (both fried and grilled), as well as deserts such as brownies and ice cream. I like this location, as there is always emplty parking spaces. It's easy to get into and out. They are closed every Sunday and major holiday.

I did find that when I call them I get an immediate response to any questions I have for them which is great and shows they really care for the customer.
