I love to shop at Wright's TV and Discount Value Center. Located just down the road from the old Walmart and the old Bilo, this business is really easy to locate. Parking is very good. I have never seen a store like this one, except the stores like Sam's. But this one you get all discount stuff at warehouse prices WITHOUT being a member. It is really a neat store. They started out with just tv's and electronics, but that was years and years ago. Now they have everything from shoes, to pants, to blouses, to all kinds of electronics and so much more. You will just have to stop in and see what all they have. The prices are just right as explained above. I am a happy shopper.

Walden Books is the bookstore I like. They always have sales on their books, and you never give full price for anything if you watch the fliers. In addition, they have clearance sales, too. You can get books and stuff for almost nothing. I like going there for their newstand as well. The employees are extremely helpful and nice. They make me feel wanted as a customer. Recommended business!

Walmart Super Center Photo is great. I love going there because you can do a lot of it yourself. Plus, if you leave something for them to do, you'd better believe your photos will be back when they say they will be. That's their guarantee. I love going to this place also because of the price. The price is reasonable. Couple that with the guarantee, what else do you want? Convenience? Quality? Well, you get that, too! AWESOME!

Walmart Supercenter is where I buy almost all my groceries. I love going there for that reason because the prices are a little lower than the other stores in my area. I like the organization of the stores as well. They are very well organized, and it's easy to find what you are looking for without walking all over the store. Besides groceries, they have almost anything else you're looking for. The prices on health and beauty aids are also lower than other stores in the area.

UA Thrift is located in front of Kate's Skating Rink on Lafayette Street jus down the road from Christ the King Church. This business is a thrift store that has been open for several years. You never know what you will find in here. You'll find lesser quality of items in here than you will at upscale thrift stores, such as Goodwill. But I like this place a lot because they give all their profits to area non-profit organizations like the Women's Shelter and the Humane Society. Every time I shop there I know I am helping others. You'll always find a lot of sales here. Some times it's shoes; sometimes it's clothes; Etc. I love going here for used items. They have knick-knacks as well. The price is just right, with many items being really cheap.

Two Doors Down is located on the courtsquare uptown. They are a little-known business for women's clothing and accessories, but I know that will change soon. I have seen more and more people go in there, as word is spreading that Tow Doors Down is the place to go first. Many times I don't go anywhere else, as I stop here before going anywhere else. I like the fact they are small and only keep the most trendy clothes. I don't have to worry about being in style, as these are the latest. That means if you get something from there, it will be in style for a while because it takes a while for something to go out of style. Recommended at four stars.

TJ's Jewelry and Pawn Shop, located at 1791 Idlewild Drive in Shelby, North Carolina, is a great jewelry and pawn shop. They always have a lot of quality jewelry, and the prices are very reasonable. In fact, I have found many nice pieces here, very unique. The location of the store leaves a lot to be desired, mainly because it is out of the way for me. But even then, I just don't like the location. I do like the pawn shop, and I will be a customer of theirs for a long time.

Super Dollar Plus is like a store called Dollar Tree. Almost everything in there is a dollar. They recently started selling lottery tickets, and for me, that's great because I try and buy one a year. The convenience in that is great for me. I like going there because I find all kinds of neat little items I need. In fact, I also try to go there at least once a week because merchandise varies weekly, sometimes daily. They are located at 1133 East Marion Street in the Harris Teeter Shopping Center.
