Fatz Cafe is the place to go for a night out. I love going to this restaurant for dinner. As other reviewers have said, this place has the best chicken you will ever eat. It's called Calabash Chicken, and it's wonderful. I go there when I can, at least 3 times a month if not more. The servers are also some of the best I have used in Shelby. This place also serves great lunch. It's quick and easy, and they are really great. Recommended highly.

Going to Fatz Cafe is a real treat to us. It's not a cafe; it's a full-fledged restaurant. They have a wide variety of foods, and people go there for their chicken and ribs. Their chicken is so good. We love to get the Calabash chicken as we love it so much. I have never tasted anything like it. Their garlic mashed potatoes are great as well. I love going to Fatz Cafe. I usually end up going at least four times a month. That's a lot for me to the same restaurant. I recommend this restaurant at four stars.

Fatz Cafe is a great place to eat. As another reviewer said, their Calabash chicken is the best you will ever taste. They have Calabash chicken fingers and Calabash Salads. Almost everything on their menu is to die for, although I usually want to live so only order one thing (SMILE). I love going here, as I feel good when I go. The servers are nice and kind and willing to help. Only a few times have I thought the servers didn't really want to serve me. Out of the the numerous times I have gone there, that says a lot. The atmosphere is great. You will see people in jeans or in more casual attire. I have seen people in dressy clothes there, especially on Sunday. Fat's is the best!

This restaurant is a very popular restaurant. You wil see people in jeans as well as dress-up. The servers are nice and usually prompt and attentive. The wait time can be long. Restaurant has the best chicken fingers you will ever taste. Their salads are wonderful! Although I have had problems with this restaurant, they are usually solved quickly. Most people in Shelby like this place a lot. I don't like the parking though and the location is not that good. But it does stay busy!

Fatz Cafe is a place to go to get together with friends or take the whole family. I found the service to be excellent, the food delicious, and the environment very pleasant. The only thing I was bothered about was I took my elderly mother and the music was a little too loud for her to hear me when we talked at times.
