If you are looking for a great beauty supply store, try Sally's Beauty Supply. It's located in front on the new Walmart Supercenter on Dixon Blvd. The parking is great. It's very easy to find a great parking space, and it's easy to get in and out the parking lot. I have gotten a lot of items that were obscure, no one else had them. So I stopped that, and now I only shop Sally's Beauty Supply for those items. I give this store a five because the sales staff is very knowledgeable, the prices are wonderful, and the product selection is great.

Cantrell and Melton's Barber Shop is located in Shelby near TT Nails and Cerwin Law Firm. They are quick and honest. You can depend on getting a nice haircut or shave here. The barbers are very skilled. There are always people waiting in the lobby, and the prices are really good. It is like a small-town Mayberry place, with tv going with the local news or sports, a lot of talk. It is a good place to go, especially since they do not have appointments. They work with children better than any other barber shop I have ever seen. I like the cleanliness of the shop as well.

Betty Jo's Florist is the best florist I have used in a long time. They are nice and kind and know how to get and keep customers. Their flowers are fresh, and well-kept. I like the flower arrangements. Most of them are unique. I went in to get an arrangement for a funeral. I was in and out in no time at all. The price was reasonable. I will be going back to Betty Jo's on West Graham Street because they are the best. If you are looking for a gift, they have them as well.

I go with my husband here at least twice now. They always take him right away for his military hair cut, has a small town appeal kinda like Mayberry, Lots of chatter with the barbers, tv going with the news and such. Has a shoe shine man there also. Prices are great, my husband likes this place.

Thompson Beauty Shop is simply a great beauty shop all the way around. It's located in Shelby, North Carolina, but the exact location could be better. But if you are in the neighborhood, you can't go wrong in patronizing this business. Most people stop in and visit before they actually get sevices from them, but you can call if you want. I enjoy watching them do their thing with other customers, and I usually get ideas on what I want to ask for by doing that.
The prices are good, and I liked the cleanliness of the building and the shop itself. They will work with you to get whatever you want. That is what I call a good business.

New Dimension Hair Styling is my kind of barber. Actually, hairstylist is the word most prefer, so I will use that from now on. The place is wonderful. I like the convenience of it (located at 224 West Warren Street); it is convenient for most everyone. I also like the parking as well; New Dimension has a great parking lot. I never have gotten a bad parking space. Now the inside of the business is great as well. I get a good feeling from when I walk in the door, whether it's from the business itself or the atmosphere. I just went in for a trim a weeks ago, and I simply loved it. They did great work as usual. I recommend New Dimension Hair Styling at four stars!

Hats off Salon and Spa is located at 1327 South Lafayette Street, in Shelby. They are the best as far as I am concerned. Besides doing the usual haircuts, trimming, permanents, highlights, they also do pedicures, manicures, and more. They have a full service spa that will make you want to come back for more. I have been a customer of them for years, and I have never had a problem. I simply love this business. They are located very conveniently for me, and I like their hours as well. Their prices are just right. This business is certainly recommended.

If you're looking for a great barber, try out this one. It's in a great location as well. The ambience is nice. I don't think you will go wrong in checking this out. Just stop by one day and see what you think. It's quick and easy and inexpensive.
They do a lot of shaves for men. I have also seen how they work with children, and I was very impressed with this.
I have watched them for a long time and every time I do, I am amazed at the styles they come with if the clients request new styles. They seem to love their jobs and that says a lot. It is usually busy as well, so what more can I say? You just need to try this business for yourself. Good luck!
