Thomas & Howard Cash & Carry is a little known store in Shelby. It's like a very small Sam's Warehouse or Costco. The only thing is they do have a few single things you can buy. But most of it is bulk. I go there and buy drinks and paper towels, that sort of thing. The price is just right. Many people, as another reviewer said, go there to buy cigarettes. I don't because I don't smoke, but I understand they are very inexpensive there. I am giving this place four stars, a "great" rating.

Thomas & Howard Cash & Carry is like a warehouse like Sam's. Of course, it is a lot smaller. Also, their prices are a little higher. But for people in Shelby and the immediate surrounding areas, it's as good as it gets. They have cheap prices on almost everything, but many people go there only for their drinks, such as cola. Other people go there for a few frozen goods or cigarettes or alcohol. I like going in there for cases of drinks. My family and I go them a lot, so that is reason enough to go there. There are no membership fees and anyone can go there.

Thomas and Howeard Cash and Carry is a great place to get bulk items. Some are not sold in bulk, such as cigarettes and a few drinks, and the like. But most of what they sell are bulk items like Sam's would carry. The prices are cheaper than most grocery stores but a little higher than Sam's. So for this area, Thomas and Howard Cash and Carry is a great store for Shelby and the surrounding areas. I first heard of this store by accident about 8 years ago. I have been a customer of theirs since then.
