Bridges Electronics Sales & Service Center is a great place for tv and stereo/radio purchases as well as repair and also computer purchases and repair. You don't have to purchase your items from them for them to repair them. I took my computer in there for them to fix. They fixed it once. Then it messed up again. It had nothing to do with the original problem. They kept it for a long time, and finally told me they could not fix it and explained why. Although I think it was bad business practice to keep it that long and not repair it, I think it was worse that they kept it and made me think they could repair it because every time I called they made me feel it was only a matter of days. However, I do understand, and I am giving them 4 stars because I do understand. Most people would not be so lenient for the business practice I encountered.

Clark Tires and Auto Service is a great place to go for almost all your auto needs. They repair automotive brakes (do brake jobs), sell tires (rotate and balance), repair vehicles, and sell trailer equipment and parts. I bought a set of tires from them last year and I have been very pleased with them. They knew exactly what tires I needed and didn't try and sell me the most expensive ones they had either. I also have a brake job done there a few months ago, and I have been well pleased with their service. Clark Tires and Auto Service really rocks. They are the best, and if you try them, you will like them as well.

Shelby Hardware and Supply rocks! They have all kinds of hardware as well as house supplies. For example, I got a lot of the fixtures in my house from there. They have been around for a long time, like "coons ages," so they know how to keep their customers while attracting new ones. Also, I love going there because they are a home-owned and home-operated business. That says a lot because it is in Shelby. I know people come from other towns and cities just to shop there. Give Shelby Hardware a try!

J B Ellis Locksmith is the locksmith I recommend for all your locksmith needs. I have used this locksmith many, many times! LOL They are very prompt and they are there when they say they will be. You don't get ripped off by these people, and I totally trust them. I have used other locksmiths and none are as efficient and as good as this one. You might want to think about keeping the number of this business in your purse or wallet because you never know when it will come in handy. I know that is how I became a customer of theirs! LOL They sell great locks, too!

This business is a great one. In fact, I am giving them four stars because they really are super. They used to be located beside the old Winn Dixie on Earl Road, between there and the Burger King on DeKalb Street. They moved into a newer establishment on Dixon Blvd near Sage Brush. They repair computers or they will sell you one they have. They will even custom-make you a computer with a super warranty. The last time I used them I was well pleased. I was having a computer problem, and it was solved quickly and efficiently. Kudos to this business. They are locally owned and operated, so that makes it even better!

Cingular Wireless is a great phone provider. They acquired AT & T Wireless, plus they share with a lot of other towers. With that, the phone service improved a lot. I like Cingular Wireless. Their local office is located in the vicinity of Fatz Cafe and Computer Connections on East Dixon Blvd. Their office hours are good, and their parking is good. You can call and get a lot of things done on the phone, though. Good luck :)

I recommend East Marion Cab Company more than any other taxi service in Shelby. They are reliable and prompt. For the most part, they are honest as well. I like the drivers a lot. They are nice and kind and if you have something that needs to go in the trunk, they will gladly help you. I feel I get the most for my money when going with this cab service. I don't feel as if I am being ripped off in any way. When I call, I am treated like a great customer. And, then when they bring me back home, I still feel wonderful. Keep this cab number in your pocket. You might need it sometime.

I love to shop at Wright's TV and Discount Value Center. Located just down the road from the old Walmart and the old Bilo, this business is really easy to locate. Parking is very good. I have never seen a store like this one, except the stores like Sam's. But this one you get all discount stuff at warehouse prices WITHOUT being a member. It is really a neat store. They started out with just tv's and electronics, but that was years and years ago. Now they have everything from shoes, to pants, to blouses, to all kinds of electronics and so much more. You will just have to stop in and see what all they have. The prices are just right as explained above. I am a happy shopper.

I love Jack in The Box. They have a lot of variety on their menu. My only problem with them is that they are slow. They are really slow in my opinion. If I ordered something unusual, I would expect slowness. But I don't, and I still have to wait a long time for their food. But the food is good, and so I keep coming. One other thing: friendliess of the store. It reeks of unfriendliness. Only once have they been rude to me. But they are not courteous, much less friendly.

I discovered Rentway at 1641 East Dixon Blvd a while back. Just one look, that's all it took. Just one look. I knew I had found what I had been looking for. They specialize in renting, renting to own. But they also sell items out right. I have bought several items from them in the last few years: a television, a DVD player, a stereo system and a few more things. Their delivery is wonderful as well. I love them a lot. I will recommend them highly.
