Park Lanes is a great place to bowl. The facility is very clean and the equipment always works. The lighting is bright with upbeat music being played while bowling is taking place. There is a small arcade in the back with fun games and decent prizes. We really like to go bowling here. It is also a good place to have birthday parties.

When I first walked into the store, it was like entering another world. The store is about medium size, but is overflowing with dolls and accessories. They do carry "regular dolls" for playing but their main dolls are collectibles, precious dolls. They are all high end, so don't expect to find anything in a lower price range. They also have a huge assortment of collectible beany babies. I would not recommend to take smaller kids inside the store, because of the possibility of them knocking something down and breaking it. Heaven for grown-up doll lovers! They also have a repairshop for broken dolls to get them fixed. A rare find these days!

Both of my daughters are members of the shawnee soccer club. we first got involved with them because the girls wanted to play a sport and this was the only sports club that we thought had reasonable prices. The kids are enrolled for the current season only, so no long term commitment if they decide this is not their thing. Everything is included in the enrollment fee except for their uniforms. You can buy your own shorts and cleets and so only have to buy the team jersey, which is not expensive. The teams are girls only or boys only and the emphasis is not on winning only. They teach the kids great team spirit. My girls love to play soccer and wouldn't want to miss a game or practice for anything! The only downside is that a lot of teams split up after the season and have to form new teams for the new season. So far it has been nothing but a great experience for the whole family! Way to go shawnee soccer club!

What a fun fun place for the whole family to spend the hot summer days at. This pool has something for everyone and it guarantees for a great time. They have a wading pool with a mushroom fountain for the little ones that includes a zero depth play area. For the more experienced swimmers there is a tube and a body slide. They even have a lazy river where you can just let your body drift! What's really great though, and I haven't found it at any of the other pools, is that there are umbrellas available. so you don't have to sit in the direct sun if you decide to take a break from the water. Of course there is a concession stand for little snacks and drinks.
