They have recently expanded and have a larger facility and if they don't stock the items you need, they're willing to order them for you. The staff is somewhat slow when returning calls (if they return them at all) They are ok because of this reason, but again, they do carry a large inventory of items (or will order them). A bigger staff would help the ratio of customers to staff and the expansion has helped their showroom somewhat.

I recently had my boiler leak on our floor. My oil service man quoted me $7000 to replace. I called Allen's and spoke to a gentleman Chris. Over the phone he told me what I would expect to pay and was within $200 after purchase. He not only sold a boiler to me, but fitted the piping specific to my 1940's house. I had a four zone setup up and running late that same day for $3200. I will recommend Allen's any day. Yes I was there for 2 hours, but well worth the $3000 dollars savings.

We hired this company to clean our carpets and they did a fantastic job (even came in with a blue light to show us the stains that we couldn't see to the naked eye) BUT I also had them stretch some carpet that was not installed correctly by another company. They did a good job stretching it but ended up damaging the trim with their tools so badly that it had to be replaced...for this reason I gave them satisfactory. Stick to having carpets cleaned only. The rates are reasonable and the staff personable...don't however have them do any other work...or you may regret it.
PROS: Personable Staff, Great at carpet cleaning, Get the job done quickly
CONS: Stretching carpet isn't their forte.

I've used this store many times...from fixing an old vacuum to buying a new one. They are very friendly and helpful and don't put any pressure on you to purchase. They offer the typical electrolux vacuums, as well as the central vac systems. They typically attend house and home shows and have special prices at these events...if you do go to their store, ask if they currently have any home show specials and they will honor the price that they are advertising at the home show..which tends to be less than the average price in the store. They do offer repairs and parts as well, but tend to be a little pricey in this catagory. Convenient location, small but friendly staff and fair prices.

This station is easy to get to being located on Route 67. It is a self serve station with a small convenience shop. The staff is friendly and gas prices seem just a tad higher than the other stations around. Good stop for a quick fill up on the way home from work.
