When I travel to Seligman, Az. I always go to The Road Kill Cafe. I will have to admit that when I was first told about this place from my friends I had reservations. But I went and man they were right. The food is so good. And big portions. Their Cheese Burgers are huge. You will probably not be able to finish lunch without a take home box. Just try it. Seligman has 900 people and no real grocery store, just a very high priced little market. So it is suprising to find this place here. It is a very large discount food store with just about anything you can imagine. You may not find exactly what you want, they get different things in all the time, but when you do, you will get it at a very great price. I bought up all their ocean spray juice f(100% juice) for only $1.29 each. Hope they get more of this in.

This general store doesn't have much in the way of food but they have a fairly well stocked hardware section and even a good amount of lumber. They also sell gas, propane, and they have an RV park around back. They have a little hamburger stand inside which I do not recommend (really bad food). The girls who work there are a little snotty but if you need hardware in this town, this is the only place you can go. Prices are higher than in the big cities but that is to be expected.

OK you get what you pay for and alot of the motels (none are chain motels all are mom and pops) in this town go for $60 and $70 a night and are nothing special, this place is only around $35 but DO NOT STAY HERE! It is the filthiest motel I have ever been in and the people running the place stay outside with friends and talk all night. I was afraid I would have fleas after staying here.

If you are unfortunate enough to have a break down near this little desert town, be warned. This place is one of the most expensive tows ever. They also are outrageous when it comes to repairs. I have had tires repaired and batteries charged here (it's the only game in town folks) and I have been charged a ridicuolous price for each.
