You have to be open-minded to go to Bud's, and certainly not a restaurant 'snob'. This is for sure a hole in the wall place, but definitely worth it. Once you get past the smoke and the outdated decor, you settle in for a cheap beer and one of the best burgers you will ever have. Don't go there expecting anything other than a burger, though. They have hamburgers, double-hamburgers, cheeseburgers and double-cheeseburgers and that is it. You get a bag of Lays original and a bowl of sliced onions and pickles. No fries-and don't even think of asking for them!! You won't be disappointed, I promise!

The men's room toilet water is ice cold and refreshing after a hot day of fornication. There is not a hint of chlorine in it and it goes down my throat like cold silk. Also, the floors around the toilet are soaked with nutrients that I like to lick up and then wash down with the toilet water. Things are good for me right now. If only the sheep would come home I would be a happy man. But that is asking a lot I know. Weather has been nice here and I'm getting ready to harvest the tomatoes from the garden so I can start canning for the long winter. Heard from grandma last weekend and she's well. I hope you are well too and I look forward to seeing you at the dance next month.
Pros: What? This is the most romantic place that allows beastly women to dine on the floor.
Cons: WTF?

Apparently this restaurant has been around for 24 years...I wish I'd known earlier! My husband took me for my birthday and we had a wonderfully romantic evening. We had drinks in their nice, new lounge until ready to go to our table (that they kept waiting for us). Our romantic table was in a bay window in what I can imagine used to be the dining room of this charming old house. The acoustics were such that noise was kept to a minimum, much appreciated in the days of piped-in music and clanging dishes in the background... The waitstaff were very professional and attentive to our every need. The food was all delicious, especially the beef carpacio and the lobster...yum!
The way it works is you order your main dish and it comes with an app, a salad and a soup, all prix fixe according to your main dish. Hence, veggie and pasta dish meals are between $20-30, the beef tenderloin and lobster for $45... Since it was a special occasion, we went all out, with cocktails, wine, an extra appetizer, two desserts and coffees, so our total was $160. However, you could easily get away with 4 course meals plus dessert for $30-40 each. My huband (German) and I have travelled around the world and we now consider this one of our favorite restaurants in the Denver area. Enjoy!
Pros: Location, Service, Food Quality, Ambience
Cons: None

There really aren't enough good things to say about the Sanctuary and their staff. We had our wedding there on September 23rd. Marianne Parker is their coordinator and she was always very helpful and accommodating with my questions/requests. They helped set everything up (and it looked beautiful!), and basically had someone stationed downstairs beforehand at our beck and call (same with the guys!) and she got us anything we needed, which wasn't much b/c they already had a ton of toiletries, etc, available. Marianne was coordinating the seating of everyone and someone else was stationed downstairs to let my dad and I know when it was time to go, then she carried my dress/veil and fluffed them out before we walked down the aisle. The reception - I don't think we've ever had better service during dinner at any restaurant - someone was waiting for us after the ceremony to get us drinks and offer us hors d'ouevres! Again, someone was pretty much stationed near us at dinner (but not annoyingly so!) to get us anything we wanted. They even saved us some hors d'ouevres b/c we pretty much missed cocktail hour. The food was fantastic! We got so many compliments on everything, I could seriously go on forever ....if you're looking for a very COLORADO-oriented place to get married (beautiful stone, dark woods, views of Pike's and Long's Peak), definitely check it out!

I preferred this kennel to other kennels because of the longer dog runs offered versus small crates. In addition, you can choose optional dog walk, play time, etc. services ala carte. They have a nice outdoor area for free play and good grounds for taking your dog on a walk. I also felt their daily boarding fees were very reasonable. The owners and staff are friendly and knowledgeable too.

It's a fun store to visit and the owners are friendly and welcoming.
