I loved the old theknot.com site. It totally saved me on my wedding. Since then, they've changed the system and I CANNOT post to the boards. I even emailed them to see if they could fix it and to no avail. It is driving me crazy. Everytime I try to post, it brings me to a pop-up window about my profile and personal information. This is terrible... wish they had the old system back :(....the new website stinks!

I found thenest.com after hanging out on theknot.com before I got married. While thenest.com doesn't offer the most helpful information, you can get the information you are looking for from their message boards. The network of women on there are great. You can ask just about anything and at least one person has an answer for you. I can waste hours of my time on those message boards. I am particularly fond on the "Money Matters" board which is how I found out about Judysbook.com in the first place.

Check out The Nest Baby Shop, they have all kinds of great gifts including ones for Mom and Dad. There are so many topics including Expert money tips, Free spa treatments, a home buying guide, Relationship advice, Sex Q&A, Insurance basics, Dinner party ideas, Cleaning Q&A, Get in shape, Home decorating tricks and much more. You can also send an E-card right from the website too. Create your To-Do lists, blogs, Thank-you's and anything else you need to keep track of. Take some of the cute quizzes (and the serious ones too) ranging from "What's your pet style?", "How insured are you?", "Rate your stress level", "Who's more romantic?" and many more. This site is full of information and I'm sure with all of the resources you'll never be able to look at everything. This is a site that it might be hard to get bored at. Thenest.com is for those who have graduated from planning a wedding, to marriage. This is a sorta silly website that hosts a couple very neat message boards. My favorites are "entertaining ideas" and "money matters." The participants on these boards are helpful, respectful and resourceful. I've gotten several recipes and hosting ideas from the entertaining ideas board. The money board helps me keep track of my daily spending and my long term financial goals. It's neat to get the perspectives from people in very different walks of life, but no matter who you are, you can always learn how to do something better.

I found out about Judy's Book from the Money Matters board on thenest.com. The nest is a great website for newlyweds and married couples. The Money Matters board is an excellent listserve where you learn about different ways to earn money, ways to save money, and freebies that are out on the web. As a die-hard knottie, after my wedding, I knew I would have to check out "The Nest". The layout is very similar to "The Knot", and it was great to see some familiar names, of those who married before me. The Nest has great message boards all dealing with topics that are very relevant to newly married folks, as well as those who have been married for awhile. It took me a bit to figure out where they were, but the Nest also has local boards, which are a great place to chat and meet up with local couples in your area.
