Self-tanner is very dependent on the user. I am a fair skinned Asian who opted to go for the medium glow. It does work very well if you a) exfoliate, b) apply after showering when pores are open and skin will absorb the lotion better c) wash your hands immediately after use. Some of these tips are just to help you achieve a great glow. Perhaps if you overdo it (I did use it everyday at one point), you will start to look orange, as I found out. However, I just started using it every other day to counteract that. You don't need to put on too much because it spreads well. I paid about $4 for it and it has been a good investment - lasts long and does not have an unpleasant smell. Good results if used properly.

I bought a bottle of this after I saw all the commercials that claim it gives a natural glow..blah...more like orange glow! I was streeked and orange! I thought it only had a small amount of self tanner but I think it only has a small amount of lotion due to the darkness of the orange. I will stick with my white glow!

Vaseline Intensive Care Healthy Body Glow Lotion is a daily replenishing moisturizer with a touch of self tanner. It costs about $3.89 for a 10 fl. oz bottle. I have very fair skin and purchased this lotion to help me achieve some sort of color for the upcoming summer. I had both a positive and negative experience with this lotion. I used it on my face, to give it some color, and that is exactly what it did. It gave me a light, very natural looking color to my face. However, where I applied it on my arms and legs, those areas turned orange after just one application of this lotion. Needless to say, my arms and legs looked like they had gone to battle with an orange and had lost. I was embarassed to be seen in public. Aside from the positive results with my face, I would say that this product is more of a self tanner with a hint of lotion than a lotion with a hint of self tanner as it so claims. This product may work better for darker complexions than mine, but for my fair skin, I think I will switch to a different brand of lotion with self tanner.

Vaseline Intensive Care Healthy Glow Lotion is a fairly new lotion out on the market. It is a lotion with a hint of self tanner in it, to give you that healthy glow. I will say it does work..perhaps better than I thought it wood. I did not think there would be much self tanner in it, but there was enough to turn my hands orange!~ Normally when I do use a self tanner, I don't mind wearing gloves so I don't get my hands orange. But I didn't think this product would have near enough self tanner in it, being that it was supposed to be just a lotion with a hint of self tanner. It's kinda a pain to have to put on gloves just to apply lotion..I was somewhat dissapointed in this product. While it provides some color, it doesn't provide enough to make me want to treat it as a self tanner (therefore wearing the gloves).
