My husband bought me this toothbrush for Christmas a couple years ago (pretty romantic, huh?) because he thought I had told him I had always wanted one. I think he must have been thinking of someone else, since I'd never thought about it, let alone mention it, but I have really enjoyed using it - as much as one can enjoy brushing one's teeth. I found it gets my teeth cleaner than a manual toothbrush and it saves my gums a lot of wear and tear.

When I received this for my birthday, I thought it was a little bit strange. I have found that I am quite pleased with the gift however. I feel like my teath are MUCH cleaner and healthier. It has a timer of how long you should spend on each side - nothing annoying, just a slight pause. This helps me be a better brusher.

I never believed all the hype about this toothbrush, and used to make fun of people who used electric toothbrushes. It was recommended to my husband by his dentist so he bought me one as well. You still have to move it around and force it into the gums and other places, but the vibrating action will get at all the plaque you have and more. I've had nothing but glowing exams since starting to use this brush. They've even backed off on getting on my case about flossing (which I don't do often enough).
The replacement heads are expensive but to me they are totally worth it considering how much I hate going to the dentist. It will come with only one charger so make sure you either charge it well before you go on vacation or take it with you, because you will need it. The brush holds charge fairly well, and comes apart for easy travel.

When my dentist recommended I purchase a Sonicare tooth brush I did so immediately. My teeth always feel like I've just had them cleaned by the dental heigentist. I haven't had any cavities since I purchased my Sonicare over a year ago. My dentist even noticed how healthy my teeth are now and commented on it. I purchased my husband one shortly after and have bought one for both of my parents. It's a great product that will make your smile healthier.

if you are going to buy an electric toothbrush go ahead and get a good one instead of those crappy cheap ones. the Sonicare is the basic electronic toothbrush and I must say when I use it my teeth feel so much better. also, my dentist told me to use this type because my gums tend to be sensitive and this is supposed to make them tougher.

As a dental student, we get a free sonicare toothbrush. Since I already had one, I gave it to my wife. She uses the new Sonicare that has the toothpaste dispenser in it. She really likes it. The one thing that looks like it wouldn't be that great is how big it is. Even with how bulky it is, I would definitely recommend a sonicare to anyone who is looking at getting an electric toothbrush. And if anyone really wants to know the advantages of owning a electric toothbrush and why it really is so much better for the health of your teeth and gums, i'll let you know, but i won't bore you with that unless someone replies to this.

A while back a slunk back into the dentist with my tail between my legs after a LONG break. She has done a fantastic job getting my mouth back together (here's a http://judysbook.com/cities/seattle/Dentists/120746/p1/Dr__Amy_Winston.htm to her page on Judy's Book), but that left it to me to keep it up. That's where my Sonicare comes in. Every morning and every night I get that sucker hummin' and keep my pearly whites shiny and new! Its tons of fun! OK, that's a lie. It's still brushing your teeth, and if you think that's fun, you've got bigger problems than a Sonicare can handle. But it is a little more interesting than regular brushing, and it definitely FEELS like something is working.
The best part about it is how clean your teeth feel when your done, like tiny little 98.6 degree ice cubes. The other best part is the return trip to the dentist, when they seem genuinely surprised that you actually followed their directions from the previous visit.
Good day.
