I know there are many out there. There are also many products out there to help your little on "go" on his own. But this DVD helped our 2 1/2 year old like nothing I've seen before. We bought it online for under $10. He watched it twice and immediately wanted to sit on the potty. This was a boy who would scream like there were hot coals coming out of the potty seat when we would put him on before. The video is entertaining to a 2 year old. My husband and I had to leave the room after the first viewing. It is only about 1/2 hr. It goes through the entire process of going to the bathroom. WIth a different song for each process. For example there is a song about sitting and waiting and being patient. Then another about wiping. then another about washing your hands. Then their is a little skit about a princess who went to the potty..finally! Throughout the dvd the announcers keep saying "you can have potty power" and when the little kids go they scream "potty power". My 2 1/2 your old screamed this for the next two weeks each time he went! I recommend getting this DVD. For the $10 and two viewing it was worth every single penny. It helped him to start the process on his own and then we just kept the ball rolling after that.

Potty Power is a wonderful DVD that will motivate your child to start potty training. The DVD is short enough to keep your child interested, but long enough to cover all of the important issues concerning potty use. Plenty of lively songs are included to help motivate children to use the potty. Plus, Potty Power teaches children the basics of hygiene in the bathroom, and stresses the importance of wiping, flushing, and washing hands each time you use the potty. Also, this DVD shows all kinds of kids actually sitting on the child potty and the adult toilet (nothing is exposed, it is very tastefully done), which helps to show your child that all kinds of children use the potty. The narrator of the video mentions over and over how being a big kid means using no more diapers--and there is even a cute song, "No More Diapers For Me." My oldest toddler showed no interest in potty training, even though he was 4 years old. After watching Potty Power a couple of times, he began to use the potty and was fully trained after about 2 weeks. I only wish I had known about Potty Power sooner.
