being hispanic I have really unruly thick brows that it seems like every waxer is trying to "thin." I'm really glad I found Autumn she totally supports a beautifully shaped natural looking brow that's not overdone. she even spent the time to talk about home care instead of the normal rip and ship out you get at the cheap-o asian joints. this is the eyebrow spot for sure.

Having been burned by deceptive long lines out the door in Seattle...We almost bailed during our 45 minute wait. Sooo glad we didn't. The staff was apologetic for our wait (without our complaining), service and timing otherwise were prompt and friendly. Every square inch of every single ingredient was delicious and perfect and wonderful. The dough is not bread. The sauce is not acidic/sugary paste from a can. The meat is not loaded with chemicals, food coloring and SALT. The cheese is not goo. Coffee is a delicious Cafe Vita blend. Glass pours of wine are fabulous. A marvelous experience through and through that I hope to repeat as many times as possible!!

A friend took me here on a 'date' a couple weeks ago, and the roasted chicken was AMAZING. Probably the best chicken I've ever tasted. I've been having cravings for it ever since. We were seated promptly (it was pretty empty on a Tuesday evening) and it was nice to not have people crowding us. I will definitely be coming back here again, just for that chicken!

Hands down best Indian food in Seattle is Cedars on Brooklyn Restaurant. It is crowded ('cause we love it), but the servers don't smash into you either. Long wait times are made easier by understanding that there is no reservation service at all. If you phone in you are just telling them what time you will start to wait, NOT reserving a table. My Darling Spidey and I made great conversation with others on numerous occasions while waiting in line outside, sometimes in the rain. I am not a big fan of waiting for service but understand it is easier to sit a couple or threesome faster than parties of 6 or more. We like the saag alu and the naan you can make a meal of by itself. As for the tip we leave $3.00 total, whether it's just us or a party or 12. The Owner keeps the tips because he pays the servers much more than minimum wage. It's a great place to go when there are carnivores and vegetarians both in your group. They don't cross contaminate with utensils on meat/veggies so you can rest assured you will have a true vegetarian meal.
Pros: Excellent Food great for carnivores and vegetarians as well!
Cons: limited parking, not for big parties

OK so never written a review before but I'm bored at work and getting my hair done tomorrow figured I'd mess around on computer look up stuff and I find my favorite hairstylist totally trash talked on this website. I have been going to etherea for over two years and have never had anything less than excellent service from my hairstylist and all of the other people who work there. I get my hair done by mercedes and I have never had so many compliments on my hair color ever in my life and I've been coloring it for 8 years now. Not only do I love love love my hair I also love going to get it done because I get treated like a queen very time I enter their salon (complimentary foot soaks and sometimes facials are such a treat!). I'm sorry but I'm sure whoever has a bad thing to say about mercedes or the salon must have a personal grudge because myself and the several people I have referred to her love what she does.

I have been going to Mode Organic Salon for a year now. What can I say about the salon is just one thing..AMAZING! the facial is always fantastic as usual!Krisitin and Jonnie are awesome! I had combination skin before (Oily in T area and dry in cheek area) and they required me to use the skin care, and right now, my skin is really soft and my T area is not that oily anymore. Beside that, those ladies shape my brow really pretty. oh couldn't happier than this! I love my brow! I usually get my brow wax once a month! and after I get my brow done, most of my friends say "wow! where did you get brow wax? I love it!"
Next, all hair stylish in mode organic salon are awesome! Last time, I had my hair cut with Selina, Monica Rose and Chelsea Duke; and I had my hair color/foil with Heidi and Crystal !and...I usually get my condition treatment at Mode too.. one who did for condition treatment was Michael..he knows hair and my hair look so great after the treatment. Just let you know that I always feel beautiful after I get my hair done at MODE! I think all stylish at Mode organic salon are professional and awesome!
I love Mode Organic Salon! I feel like HOME when I go to Mode! The place is so cozy and the smells naturally good. it's a great place to get relaxing too! you can get drink for service and scalp and hand massage when you get haircut or color. Moreover, you can have massage chair while you wait for your stylish or esthetician come to you.
it's the best salon in Seattle. Mode has great organic products, professional hair stylish and esthetician. The people are really nice, almost on time appoinment all the time and the staff are so friendly and caring. HOW I LOVE MODE! It's a little bit pricey, but it's an amazing salon; therefore, it is worth to pay.

I love Halo! I've been going there for three years now and every time I'm so incredibly pleased with it. I have worked with Jen, Stephanie, and Medina and have been very very VERY happy with all of them. I now use just Jen (Medina was a one time deal because Jen was gone, Stephanie is great but a little pricey for me) and my hair has never looked better! Not only is Jen so much fun AND incredibly good at her job, but she actually remembers you and treats you like an old friend. I've been to other salons like Gene Juarez and was sick of being treated like a number and sick of having stupid conversations about my favorite TV shows and the like. Jen is fresh, fun, and so real about what works and doesn't work for you. (which is amazing!) Go to Jen and you won't regret it! If she's booked, anyone at Halo will do you justice and you'll leave happy you went!
Pros: Great service, fun people, excellent styling
Cons: Parking is tricky (downtown)
