Hanna Andersson makes beautiful clothing - both for children and adults - with a European flair. She is best known for her children's clothing, and that is what they carry at this store in University Village. Hanna is well known for her fun prints, gorgeous tights and well made, almost indestructable clothing. The sizes are European, so get a sizing chart and *ask* if you're unsure. The staff here is extrememly helpful and friendly. I find the European sizing to be a good thing because my kids can often wear their Hanna things for more than one season. For that reason, the prices are a little easier to stomach. The clothes ARE pricey, but if you plan to use them for more than one season, or hand them down to another child, it's not too bad.

This is a really good store to find well-made, beautiful clothing for children. They hold up really well after washing and are sized so that they last much longer than most other children's clothing. (For example, I bought a sweater for my daughter there that she should have outgrown by 6 months, but she can still wear it at 13 months). They have socks that fit newborns, when most newborn socks can be kicked off and are lost quickly. The staff is really helpful and nice and they help to direct me to items I hadn't thought of, even when they were lower priced than the original items I was viewing. The major negative is that they are very expensive for children's clothing (i.e. about $6.00 for a pair of infant socks and $36 for a baby sweater). It is a great place for a baby shower gift, because of how beautiful the clothing is.
