I do not have a Gymboree store in my city. The store I usually shop at is in Huntington, which is about two hours from my house. Every time we travel to Huntington to see my family, we stop by the Barboursville Mall and check this store out. I love how they have everything to match, from the hairbow on top of your head to the socks and shoes on your feet. I do feel that this store is expensive, so I usually just purchase from the sales rack. They usually have two round racks in the back of the store with reduced items. You can catch some great deals with mismatched items. I like to purchase the newborn clothing and keep it on hand for unexpected baby gifts. If you like to dress your child with matching clothing, including hat, coat and boots, then you will like this store.

This store seems smaller than the other ones, and it's a little harder to get to. Pacific Place in and of itself does not lend to easy shopping with a baby in tow. It's more for adults. Gymboree...

This store seems smaller than the other ones, and it's a little harder to get to. Pacific Place in and of itself does not lend to easy shopping with a baby in tow. It's more for adults. Gymboree is way too expensive anyway, and they turn their styles so much to create the illusion of HTF clothing. Well, it's just kids clothes, and Old Navy makes the same quality for MUCH less, and their sizes are easier to find in stock. Gymboree tends to cater too much to the girls too, so boys have a *really* hard time of finding in stock wearable clothes that are reasonsably priced.

So I love Gymboree clothing for my daughter. I love the Bellevue location. The northgate store though is a close 2nd. They seem to have the same sort of selection, but the store isn't nearly as packed as others I've been too. They also have a very friendly sales staff and are willing to help locate sizes you need. Their selection may not include the same items as the Bellevue store, but they are definitely worth a stop in to.

I love Gymboree in general, but this store is my new favorite. Like all Gymbo stores, it's pretty small so it can get very crowded in there, especially during sales. To the folks who think Gymboree is "too expensive", you haven't learned to work the sales... and the ebay resale market! They have frequent sales and promotions, and once you learn the system, Gymboree isn't much more expensive than Old Navy or the like. The staff at the Pacific Place store is fantastic. They are very helpful, and I always end up buying more than I intended. (Which is of course, their job!)

Has anyone who has a little boy noticed that, while there is a glut of adorable clothing for little girls, finding cool clothing for boys is a bit of a challenge? If you are facing this problem, hit Gymboree! They have really cute boy clothes and their prices are great! They have frequent sales and the staff is great!
